The Contract Said No Strings Attached (Charlotte) novel Chapter 591

Dylan drove Rebecca back to Sunset Villa Estates.

Rebecca, seeing Dylan just sitting in the car, broke the silence after a moment. "Since you're here, why don't you come in for a bit?"

Dylan frowned. Sunset Villa Estates was his house, to begin with. Since when did he need an invitation from her?

When he didn't answer, Rebecca assumed he was reluctant and quickly added, "But it is getting late. If it's not a good time, you should just head back."

Dylan turned to her. "What's not a good time? Are you hiding some other man in there?"

Rebecca's eyes widened. "Hiding... a man? Dylan, don't be ridiculous."

Besides her four adorable little ones, there were no men in her house.

Dylan scoffed. "Then why did you say it wasn't a good time?"

Rebecca was speechless. "I meant if it wasn't a good time for *you*... And don't forget, we have a contract marriage that will end when the term is up. Having you over late at night isn't exactly convenient for me, either."

She remembered Dylan reminding her about the contract marriage over the phone last time, so she didn't mind reminding him again.

Dylan's frown deepened, finding himself momentarily at a loss for words.

Just then, Berton walked over. Seeing the car parked at the gate, he approached and tapped on the window. "Ma'am, you're back."

Berton's voice was gentle and pleasant. As the window rolled down, his young, handsome face became clear in the dim light of the evening.

Rebecca nodded. "Yes."

Then, Rebecca opened the door and got out.

Dylan's gaze fell on Berton standing outside, and his frown tightened.

He hadn't noticed when he arrived. When did a pretty boy like this start working at Sunset Villa Estates?

So this was what she meant by not hiding a man?

Berton saw Dylan as well and paused for a second before speaking. "Mr. Austin, you're back too. Will you be getting out?"
