The Disguised Billionaire She Rejected novel Chapter 118

Chapter 118

Sancho stepped forward slowly, the smug look on his face growing worse as he stared at Marcus like he had already won.

“If you refuse to leave Julia here,” he said coldly, “then I’ll make life miserable for you. I’ll have you arrested for destroying my car unless you paid, and I swear you’ll suffer for the rest of your life.”

Marcus only scoffed.

Actually, paying that kind of money was not even the issue. Fourteen million naira meant nothing to him. But there was no way he was going to bend to Sancho or let him use money to threaten him.

“I’m not paying you a dime,” Marcus said flatly. “You packed your car and refused to move it, and I only moved trash out of my way after warning you more than once. If you want to call the police, go ahead. We’ll settle it there.”

Mrs. Leah glared at him in anger. “Look at him, still talking back like he has any right to! You really think you can won a case against Sancho?”

Mrs. Alfred clicked her tongue in disgust. “You can’t even afford the damage and yet you’re still standing there giving excuses.”

Victoria, who had been looking for every possible way to get Julia out of the picture, immediately saw an opening. She had also been eyeing Sancho for a while now. A man with that kind of money, family name, and confidence was exactly the sort she liked. If Julia was stubborn enough to throw him away, Victoria wouldn’t mind stepping in herself.

She turned to Mrs. Alfred at once. “Grandma, if Julia wants to keep embarrassing all of us like this, then just send her away from the family. She has no reason to keep enjoying everything here if she refuses to listen.”

Mrs. Alfred’s eyes sharpened.

That idea immediately appealed to her.

Threatening Julia with disownment might finally force her back into line.

So she looked at Julia and said in a hard voice, “Julia, if you keep refusing to listen to what everyone is saying, then fine. You will be disowned. I will personally send you out of this family.”

Mr. Alfred nodded without hesitation. “Yes. I support it.”

Mrs. Leah, thinking the pressure would finally break Julia, added quickly, “I support it too. If you refuse to obey this family, then you don’t deserve to keep enjoying the privilege that comes with our name.

Sancho smiled faintly and folded his arms.

“And don’t even think of running away with this man,” he added. “Because I will keep pursuing both of you until he pays for my car. And we all know he never can. Do you really want to spend your life struggling like that?”

Julia’s face turned red with anger, but she lifted her chin and fired back.

“You all should think carefully before threatening me like that,” she said. “The contract we’re enjoying right now from the Langstones came because of me. The branding project too. If I leave this family, both of those things stop with me because I’m the one heading them. You know exactly how much losing that would drag this family backward. So do you really want to risk that?”

The room fell into sudden silence.

Even Mrs. Alfred’s expression shifted.

Because Julia wasn’t bluffing.

She had become extremely useful to the family lately. The Langstone connection alone had brought them more money and prestige than they had seen in a long time. If she walked away, it wouldn’t just be some emotional family problem anymore. It would become a business problem too.

Then Sancho smiled and stepped in smoothly.

“If that’s the issue, then there’s no problem,” he said. “If Julia is sent away, I’ll make sure the Alfred family signs every contract possible with Aqsa Enterprises.”

He spread his hands confidently. “Do you even know who we are? People say Aqsa is bigger than the Langstones. With us, you will enjoy more contracts, more influence, and more privilege. You won’t even need the Langstones

anymore.’

That changed everything.

The Alfred family members looked at one another, and slowly, smiles began to appear.

“Yes…”

“That would solve it.”

“If Aqsa works with us directly, then what do we need Langstone for?”

One after another, they began agreeing.

Marcus only scoffed as he watched them.

Meanwhile Julia looked around the room, disgust filling her face.

“I don’t care how much you all pressure me,” she said firmly. “I’m not marrying him.”

Mr. Alfred’s expression hardened instantly.

“Then it’s official,” he said coldly. “From this moment on, you are disowned from this family. You are no longer welcome here. Get out of this house right now.”

Julia’s chest rose and fell once as anger burned in her eyes.

“Well, if that’s what you want,” she said.

Then she turned sharply to Marcus.

“Let’s go.”

Without waiting for anyone to stop her, she stormed out of the room.

Marcus gave the Alfred family one last cold look, then turned and followed after her.

The moment Julia left, Mrs. Leah suddenly panicked.

“She really left?” she cried, half rising from her seat. “My daughter-”

She looked like she wanted to run after her immediately, but Mrs. Alfred stopped her with a sharp voice.

“Oh, calm down,” she said. “Why are you panicking? She’ll come back. I only want to teach her a lesson. Let her go and taste life outside this family. Let her see what life is like with that poor lowlife beside her. She needs a reality check.”
