The Disguised Billionaire She Rejected novel Chapter 128

Chapter 128

Sancho’s eyes remained glued to the screen. The smug expression that had covered his face only moments ago slowly disappeared, replaced by utter disbelief. Every major news outlet was carrying the same headline,

It had become the biggest breaking news in the entire city. According to every report, AQSA Group was only one step away from complete bankruptcy after a massive leak exposed thousands of confidential company documents to the public.

Files that should have remained locked away inside the company’s highest security servers were now circulating/ freely across the internet. Internal financial reports, confidential agreements were spreading faster than anyone could delete them.

His heartbeat accelerated when another headline caught his attention. The secret offshore accounts that AQSA had spent years hiding had also been exposed. The account numbers, login credentials, passwords, security questions, and every detail required to access them had somehow found their way onto the internet. His entire body froze. Those accounts were never meant to exist publicly. They had been created to store enormous amounts of dirty money far away from regulators and tax authorities.

Since they weren’t officially registered under AQSA or any member of the Derek family, there was no legal way to admit ownership of them without exposing years of financial crimes.

Yet now, people across the world were logging into those accounts. Videos had already begun appearing online showing strangers withdrawing millions of dollars while laughing into their cameras.

.Some even mocked AQSA openly, knowing the company couldn’t report the theft because doing so would require them to admit that every dollar inside those accounts had been hidden illegally. It was a perfect trap. Whether they remained silent or spoke up, they would lose everything.

Investors were pulling out of AQSA at an alarming speed. Banks had begun freezing corporate assets.

“What… what the fuck is happening?” Sancho whispered, his voice shaking uncontrollably. “How… how is all this possible?”

Without wasting another second, he immediately called his father back. The phone barely rang once before Mr. Derek answered.

“Father!” Sancho shouted. “Tell me what’s happening! Why is all this happening?”

“Because of you, you useless bastard!” Mr. Derek roared so loudly that everyone nearby could hear him through the speaker.

“I just finished my investigation, and everything leads back to one family. The Langstones have finally made their move against us. But you went and offended the one person we could never afford to provoke, the leader of the Langstone family himself”

Sancho frowned deeply, unable to understand. “Dad, don’t take your anger out on me. How could I possibly offend the leader of the Langstone family? I have never even met him. I know the newspapers always compare AQSA to the Langstones, but everyone knows we still aren’t on their level. I would never dare challenge someone like that.”

“Shut the fuck up!” Mr. Derek thundered. “Didn’t you hear what I just said? I investigated everything personally before calling you. The person you’ve been fighting recently… the man you clashed with during the stone-cutting event… he’s the one. He’s the leader of the Langstone family.”

The words struck Sancho like a bolt of lightning. A loud ringing filled his ears, drowning out every other sound

inside the warehouse.

His entire body became numb as his head slowly turned toward Marcus, who was still kneeling calmly on the concrete floor with his hands tied behind his back.

Sancho swallowed hard. “Wait… wait… you mean Marcus?”

“Yes!” Mr. Derek yelled. “It’s him!”

Sancho immediately shook his head in denial. “No, Father. You’ve made a mistake. Marcus is nothing but a poor nobody. I investigated him myself, he is an orphan. There’s no way someone like him could be the Langstone leader. In fact, he’s right here in front of me. I’ve already taken the Ruby Gem from him. He’s still kneeling on the ground with his hands tied. He can’t possibly be that man.”

Before Mr. Derek could reply, the atmosphere inside the warehouse suddenly changed.

Thud Thud Thud

Heavy footsteps echoed from outside, growing louder with every passing second until they sounded like thunder rolling across the concrete floor.

The warehouse doors burst open, and dozens upon dozens of heavily armed men stormed inside in perfect formation.

Their movements were swift and disciplined as they spread throughout the building, occupying every entrance, every exit, every blind spot, and every elevated position within seconds. The muzzles of their rifles were trained directly on Sancho’s men before anyone even had the chance to react.

Sancho’s bodyguards instinctively pointed their weapons back, but before either side could make a move, a calm, commanding voice echoed across the warehouse.

“I strongly advise every one of you to drop your weapons immediately. If you insist on resisting, then we will simply make that decision for you.”

The crowd instinctively parted as a tall man walked forward with steady, confident steps. The instant Sancho saw his face, his heart nearly stopped beating.

“L-Lord Coblen…”

There wasn’t a single influential person in the city who didn’t know that name. Lord Coblen commanded the city’s military forces, and even the wealthiest families treated him with the utmost respect. If a man of his status had personally come here instead of sending ordinary soldiers, then this matter was far beyond anything Sancho had imagined.

Realizing there was no escape, Sancho slowly raised both hands above his head. “I surrender.”

The rest of his men exchanged frightened glances before quickly following his example. Pistols, rifles, shotguns, and knives clattered onto the floor one after another until the warehouse fell completely silent.

Trying desperately to salvage the situation, Sancho forced out a nervous smile. “Lord Coblen… I’m Sancho. My father is Derek, the CEO of AQSA. There must be some misunderstanding…”

Lord Coblen didn’t even spare him a glance. Instead, he walked straight past him and stopped in front of Marcus. Then, to the complete shock of everyone present, he respectfully lowered his head.

“I sincerely apologize for arriving late, sir.”

He immediately gestured toward the soldiers behind him.
