The Disguised Billionaire She Rejected novel Chapter 30

Chapter 30.

Julia’s brows pulled together. “What are you saying? Romance? What!”

Jordan laughed and stepped further into the office. “You want to deny it? We just caught you two holding hands on campus premises!”

Julia scoffed. “He was checking my wound. We are friends. That’s all. There isn’t any romance in this”

Jordan shrugged. “Then let’s publish this and see what people think.”

Even though the institution strictly prohibited any sexual or romantic relationship between an instructor and a student, it did not forbid normal human interaction. They could talk. They could help each other. They could even be friends. There was no rule against that. But Julia knew Jordan too well. His father was one of the biggest sponsors of the school. He could twist this story into whatever he wanted and the administration would believe him without question. It would not just cost her this job. She would be blacklisted from the entire academic circle and never be allowed to teach again.

She swallowed and forced her voice to soften. “Jordan, calm down. You are misunderstanding this.”

“I don’t care,” Jordan replied coldly.

Marcus stepped forward with a calm face. “Well, go ahead and do whatever you want with that video.”

Jordan blinked. “Really? Haha. You see, Professor Julia, this motherfucker doesn’t care about you at all. If this video gets out, you know what will happen, right?”

Julia bit her lip. “Jordan, please don’t do this. That video shows nothing. Just two friends. That’s all.”

Jordan turned to his friend holding the phone. “On the count of three, hit the post button.”

He grinned and raised his fingers.

Marcus did not even react. He folded his arms across his chest and watched without concern.

But Julia felt her heart pounding against her ribs. Sweat formed on her palm as Jordan raised his hand.

“One…”

Her breath shortened.

“Two…”

“Okay, okay wait,” Julia blurted out quickly. “What do you want? I will do anything if you delete the video and don’t twist it.”

Jordan’s grin widened.

“Anything you say.”

Julia nodded quickly. “Yes. Just delete this and stop tormenting Marcus.”

Jordan’s smile stretched slowly. “Well, what I want is simple. I want you.”

Marcus scoffed under his breath.

Julia frowned. “What is that supposed to mean?”

“I want you,” Jordan said plainly. “I want you to be my girlfriend.”

Julia stared at him in disbelief. “Why are you being a hypocrite? You know this school prohibits such relationships. You were just threatening us with it, and now you want me and you to date?”

Jordan shrugged with lazy confidence. “As long as it’s me and you, there is no problem. Remember who my father is to this institution. We will get away with anything.”

Julia bit her lip and glanced at the phone still pointed at her. Her thoughts raced. This job was her whole life. Years of study. Years of effort. She had built everything around this career and one twisted story could destroy it beyond repair.

Jordan’s voice hardened. “You have no choice. Either you date me or watch your career go down the

drain.”

She felt trapped. Her mind searched for an escape but found nothing.

Marcus stepped forward calmly. “She isn’t going to do anything. You can do whatever you want with that video and I can assure you nothing will happen.”

Jordan and his friend burst into laughter.

“You are underestimating me,” Jordan said. “I can even make this school expel you.”

Marcus did not flinch. “Well, try it.”

Julia quickly turned to Marcus. “Please stop. His father is very powerful in this school. He can do and undo anything.”

Marcus looked at her. “Don’t mind this cockhead. I can assure you there is nothing he can do that will make this school sack you. You are the most valuable teacher here.”

Jordan’s face darkened. “Did you just call me a cockhead?”

Marcus did not hesitate. “Yes. You are a cockhead who doesn’t know how to impress a woman and hides under his father’s influence. A cockhead.”

Jordan’s eyes burned with rage. “Fuck you!”

He rushed forward and threw a punch at Marcus but marcus stepped aside.

His foot tripped and he stumbled awkwardly, nearly falling. He regained balance and swung again with more force.

Marcus moved slightly to the side and caught his fist midair as if it weighed nothing. His grip tightened

around Jordan’s wrist.

Jordan struggled. “Let go!”

Marcus twisted his arm with a swift motion.

Crack!!!

A sharp, sickening sound filled the office.
