The threat mad everyone Froze.. No one dare challenged Wilson. They all knew him. And lately, they had heard things about him. rumours has it that he was even a thug leader.
Damien kept staring at him, little scared and intimidated.
Then Marcus spoke.
“What about this.”
His voice was calm enough to cut through the tension.
Wilson turned his head slowly.
Marcus leaned forward slightly. “How about you and me pay for the meals. Just the two of us. Everyone orders what they want. Whoever spends the least gets the beer poured on him.”
The room went still in a different way.
Julia’s voice came first. “Marcus.”
Damien followed. “Marcus, what are you doing?”
Wilson stopped smiling. He stared at Marcus like he was trying to understand if he had heard correctly. Then he scoffed.
“What the heck are you saying?”
Marcus did not look away. “I mean just me and you. We cover the whole table. Proper meals. Whoever spends more wins.”
A burst of laughter broke out.
“Did he hit his head?”
“Does he even know who he’s talking to?”
“He thinks he can win?”
Jessica quickly leaned forward. She thought Marcus was bluffing and wanted to stop this before it got
worse.
“Wilson, I think we should just forget all this and eat normally,” she said carefully.
Wilson did not look at her. His eyes stayed on Marcus.
Marcus smirked slightly. “Why? Are you scared you might lose to me?”
Wilson went quiet.
He started calculating. If everyone ordered freely, the bill would be huge but two hundred thousand

dollars would easily cover it. There was no way Marcus could produce anything close to that. The only thing that was making him hesitating was spending that much on food.
Ivana laughed loudly. “Marcus, everyone here knows how poor and useless you are. And you think you
can win Wilson?”
Marcus did not react to her. He kept his eyes on Wilson.
“Let’s just do it,” Marcus said. “In fact, if you win, I will kneel down and kiss your shoes.”
That made Wilson grin again.
“You clearly don’t understand what we mean by a rich meal,” he said. “But fine. Let’s play. And you better kiss those shoes properly.”
Julia leaned closer, panic rising. “Marcus, stop. There’s no way you can beat him.”
Damien added, “Let’s just leave. He’s crazy. Don’t fall into this.”
Marcus did not even blink.
Wilson pointed at him. “You better do exactly what you promised or I swear I’ll brush out all your teeth.”
Across the table, Travis shook his head in disbelief. “I can’t believe Marcus can be this delusional and stupid,” he muttered.
Jessica grabbed his arm quietly. “Can you sneak this card to him?” she whispered, slipping her payment
card into his hand.
She was worried. She thought Marcus was walking into humiliation. That she was just bluffing and
wanted to help out.
Travis frowned at the card, then back at Marcus. He slowly pulled his hand away.
“No,” he said under his breath. “He should face the consequences of his delusions and bluffing.” This made jessica hurt.
Wilson leaned back in his chair and clapped his hands once. “Well. Let’s get started!!! Hey waiter!”
His voice cut through the room and the waiter rushed over almost instantly. Wilson didn’t even look at the menu. He tapped the table slowly.
“Mmm… bring the Wagyu A5 tomahawk steak, white truffle mashed potatoes, Alaskan king crab legs, caviar platter, and a bottle of Château Margaux for each person.”
The waiter blinked.
“Sir… per person that will be ten thousand dollars.”
The room froze.
“What?!”

“Ten thousand on one person?”
“Just for food?!”
Even the waiter looked confused as he glanced around at the sixteen of them.
Wilson smirked. “Yeah. That will make one hundred and sixty thousand dollars for sixteen people. Bring
it on.”
A slow clap started from the far end of the table and then everyone joined in. The sound filled the room.
Everyone started whispering!.
“I swear there is no way Marcus is winning here.”
“Even that ten thousand dollars… Marcus would do anything to have it.”
The waiter hurried off to place the order.
Marcus didn’t move. He didn’t speak. He only watched.
Wilson had to pay first before Marcus could order his wait.
During the wait, Ivana laughed loudly.
“Look at Marcus. He’s scared already. I can’t wait to see him on his knees.”
A few people laughed.
Even Julia bit her lips. What Wilson ordered was beyond expectations.
Jessica then told Marcus.
“Marcus, you know you can still pull out now.”
She was trying to save him from the pending humiliation. But Marcus didn’t respond.
Wilson grinned. “No one is pulling out. He will be humiliated after some minutes.”
Then the food came. Ten waiters had to delivered it properly to the room.
They filled the table with plates of steaming luxury. The aroma of butter, meat, and spice covered the room. Everyone ate. Everyone laughed.
“wow, this is so mindblowing!”.
“look delicious already”
After they finished setting the table up, Wilson made the payment official with his card and the waiter confirmed it.
“Wow, he really paid for it, just like that???,” someone said.
