Chapter 42
More thugs kept pouring into the compound like a never-ending swarm. Over twenty armed men had already flooded in, and another dozen followed behind, their heavy boots thudding against the ground. Guns glinted under the compound lights as they spread out, forming a deadly semicircle around Marcus and Jessica.
Jessica’s face turned pale with terror. She clutched Marcus’s arm tightly, her body trembling. “Marcus… what should we do?! We’re going to die! There are too many of them!”
Marcus remained calm, his eyes scanning for any possible way out. Just then, Wilson limped out of the house, his face swollen and covered in cuts and bruises. Blood trickled from his split lip as he sneered viciously.
“Good… you know that,” Wilson growled, spitting blood. “None of you is leaving here alive!”
His remaining men raised their guns, barrels pointed directly at Marcus and Jessica. The air grew thick
with tension.
Marcus sighed deeply and closed his eyes for a brief moment. One of the beads on the mysterious bracelet he wore emitted a faint beep.
When he had arrived earlier, he had single-handedly taken down nearly fifty of Wilson’s men. The power surging through the bracelet had made him unbelievably fast and strong-stronger than even he expected. He was still surprised by it himself. He was confident they could escape if needed, but right now, his eyes searched for the safest exit route.
Wilson laughed mockingly, pointing a shaky finger at Jessica. “You should have just let me fuck you in peace, Jessica. Now you and your stupid lover will die. I will sell your kidney!” He turned to his men, eyes blazing with hatred. “Guys, blow their brains off!”
The men cocked their guns, fingers tightening on the triggers, ready to shoot.
Suddenly-

The rapid sound of helicopter rotors filled the air. Everyone froze in shock. All heads turned upward as two military helicopters appeared overhead, their blinding searchlights sweeping down and bathing the entire compound in harsh white light.
*SMASH!*
The massive metal gate was violently knocked down as a heavily armored tank rolled in with a thunderous roar, its tracks crushing the debris beneath it. Dozens of elite soldiers in tactical gear rushed in behind the tank, surrounding Wilson’s men in seconds. The compound had instantly transformed into
a war zone.
Wilson’s eyes widened in disbelief. “A helicopter?! What the-?!”

Marcus smirked quietly. He knew exactly who had arrived-Commander Lee had come through.
Jessica stared in awe, still gripping Marcus’s hand. “Are… are they here for us?”
Ropes dropped swiftly from the helicopters as more special forces operatives rappelled down with military precision, landing smoothly around the compound. A man wearing a distinctive red beret stepped forward into the light. As he came closer, Marcus realized it wasn’t Commander Lee himself, but clearly someone sent by him.
The man’s voice boomed with authority. “We are from the Special Ops Unit-Red Tigers. If you do not drop your weapons in the count of three, we will blow your heads off. One… Two…”
An overwhelming, ruthless aura radiated from the elite soldiers. Wilson’s men, who had been so aggressive moments ago, began shaking visibly. They had all heard terrifying stories about the Red Tigers-their ruthless efficiency and how they only handled matters of national security. Why were they here?
Immediately, guns clattered to the ground as the thugs raised their hands in surrender, terrified for their lives.
Wilson gulped hard and slowly dropped his own weapon, fear written across his battered face.
The leader of the Special Ops walked straight up to him, his expression cold as steel. “You… Our boss was angry when he called me. You dared to try and harm someone related to national security. Hold him!”
Wilson’s eyes bulged in shock. “Is Marcus the person you are referring to? There must be a big mistake here! Shut up-”
“Hold him,” the leader repeated calmly.
Before Wilson could finish pleading, two soldiers grabbed him roughly. He began begging desperately,” Please! This is a misunderstanding! I didn’t know! Let me go!”
*CRACK!*
They twisted his arm violently. A sickening snap echoed through the compound.
“Yaaaaaaa!” Wilson screamed in agony, collapsing to his knees as pain shot through his broken limb.
Wilson’s face twisted in unimaginable agony as the soldiers wrenched his arm further, bending it at an unnatural angle with a sickening crack. Fresh tears streamed down his bloodied cheeks. “No! Nooo! Please stop!” he cried like a broken man, his voice cracking pathetically.
But Lieutenant Xander wasn’t done. With cold precision, he lifted his heavy boot and stomped hard on the already shattered hand. Bones crunched loudly under his heel.
“Yaaaaaaa!” Wilson screamed, his body convulsing in pain. “I’m sorry! I’m sorry! Please… make it stop!”
“Apologize for what you’ve done,” Xander ordered, pressing his boot down harder.
Wilson, sobbing uncontrollably, began crawling desperately toward Marcus on his knees, dragging his

mangled hand behind him. “Please… please, I’m sorry! I didn’t know who you really are. Forgive me! I beg you, forgive me!”
Marcus smirked, looking down at the once-arrogant man now reduced to a whimpering mess. Apologize to her. She’s the one you offended.”
Wilson turned to Jessica, tears and blood mixing on his face. “I’m… I’m so sorry, Jessica. Please forgive me. I was wrong. I shouldn’t have touched you. Please…”
Jessica’s eyes burned with anger. Without warning, she stepped forward and crushed his broken hand under her foot again.
*CRACK!*
“Yaaaaaaa!” Wilson howled like a baby, fresh tears rushing down his eyes. “No! Nooo! Please!”. Jessica felt good.
