Chapter 48
Meanwhile, Jordan walked into the restaurant. He was fully consumed with rage and jealousy.
He had failed many times to get Julia’s attention, and worse, he had been embarrassed by Mae many
times without number.
With today’s humiliation, he could no longer stand it.
He growled, “He’s just appeared to be getting lucky. I don’t understand why Julia is choosing him. I won’t be disgraced or dragged down like this! I must do something.”
Then he pulled out his phone, and a voice answered.
“Young Master, how can we help you?”
“Well… I need your usual work. What we always do,” he replied.
“Ohh. Another chick to snatch. Okay sir, send us the information right now!!!”
Then he hung up the phone. In truth, in the past, whenever a lady said no to Jordan, he was the type who wouldn’t take no for an answer. So he would arrange some thugs to lure the lady, and he would rape her. In fact, he even filmed them most of the time.
He had wanted to be a gentleman with Julia because he loved her. But with what happened today, he would go the hard way.
He smirked as he sent the necessary information to the thugs.
After some minutes, Julia and Marcus enjoyed a proper, relaxed meal together. They gisted about everything-from childhood memories and favorite movies to dreams for the future-laughing easily and stealing affectionate glances at each other.
When they finally finished eating, Marcus insisted on escorting Julia to her car in the parking lot. The cool evening air brushed against them as they walked side by side. They stopped beside her vehicle, gazing at each other with open affection.
“Thank you for today,” Julia said softly, her voice warm with gratitude. “I really enjoyed this.”
Marcus nodded, a gentle smile playing on his lips. For a few seconds, neither spoke, simply enjoying the closeness. Then Julia gulped, her cheeks flushing slightly. “Actually, there’s something I want to tell you
“Hm? What is it?” Marcus asked, his tone curious and encouraging.
“I…” She hesitated, searching for the right words, her heart pounding. She was about to continue when her eyes suddenly widened in horror. “Marcus! Behind you!”
But her warning came too late.

A sharp iron baton slammed into the back of Marcus’s head with vicious force. Blood gushed instantly from the deep wound as he staggered forward and collapsed heavily onto the concrete. Pain exploded through his skull.
“Marcus!” Julia screamed in terror.
The attackers-thugs arranged by Jordan-were already in motion. They wore black masks and gloves, armed with iron batons.
One of them had delivered the crushing blow that knocked Marcus unconscious.
“Marcus!. Marcus!”.
Julia kept screaming, trying desperately to reach him, but strong hands seized her roughly from behind. She struggled fiercely as they bundled her toward her own car, shoving her into the back seat. The engine roared to life, and the vehicle sped away into the night.
“Who are you? Let me go! Help!” she screamed repeatedly, but the masked men offered no reply, their silence cold and professional.
“Ughh”.
Marcus didn’t remain motionless for long. Groaning loudly in agony, he clutched the back of his bleeding
head.
Sharp, throbbing pain made his vision blur, but sheer willpower kept him conscious. Fighting through the dizziness, he pulled out his phone with shaky fingers and dialed Natalie immediately.
“Come right now-with the Division 1 bodyguards!” he rasped urgently.
Natalie sensed something was terribly wrong. “Marcus? What happened? Talk to me!”
He quickly explained the attack and sent his location. Barely four minutes passed before five sleek, dark vehicles screeched to a halt around him, tires smoking.
Doors flew open. A medical team rushed out from one of the cars and immediately began treating him on the spot-cleaning the wound, applying pressure bandages, and administering fast-acting pain relief.
Natalie jumped out and ran to his side. “Marcus! Are you okay?”
Right behind her, highly trained men in black tactical gear emerged-the elite Division 1 bodyguards owned by the powerful Langstone family.
Composed of excellent ex-military operatives, they were widely known as the strongest and most efficient private security unit in the city.
Still wincing from the pain but determined, Marcus handed his phone to the lead bodyguard.
“Track this number right now!. I want her exact location. This instant!”.
“Yes sir”.

In a dimly lit luxury hotel room on the outskirts of the city, Julia found herself tightly bound to a chair with rough ropes digging into her wrists and ankles.
Her heart hammered with fear and fury as the door opened and Jordan stepped in, a smug smile plastered across his face. The thugs who had kidnapped her gave him a quick nod before leaving the two of them alone.
“So you are the one behind this,” Julia said, her voice cold with realization. She frowned deeply, glaring at
him.
Jordan smiled wider and nodded. “Yes, teacher.”
Julia sighed in disbelief. “What the fuck are you doing? You orchestrated a kidnapping! Do you know how many years in jail that carries?”
