The young man was now pinned roughly on the ground by several of Jeremy’s guards. They followed his orders without hesitation, spreading his legs apart on the cold restaurant floor as they prepared to stomp down hard with their heavy boots and cripple him.

Just as the guards raised their feet to deliver the brutal blow, a calm but firm voice cut through the tense silence from behind.

“Hey, don’t you think you’re going too far, man?”

Everyone froze and turned toward the voice. It was Marcus, who had risen from his seat with a composed expression.

Julia’s eyes widened in panic. She quickly whispered to him, tugging at his sleeve, “Marcus, don’t intervene. This is the Coblen family!”.

But marcus didn’t listen to her. Julia was panicking so seriously.

Jeremy smirked arrogantly, looking Marcus up and down with clear disdain. “Who the heck is this one

also?!”

Marcus stepped forward confidently, his voice steady and clear for the entire restaurant to hear. “A customer who feels this man is on his right, and you are subjecting him to discrimination and flexing your power abuse. It shouldn’t be.”

This only made Jeremy even angrier and madder. His face twisted with rage as he glared at Marcus.

“Who are you to dare challenge me!”.

Marcus said calmly, “No one is challenging you. You acted rude just because you wanted to propose to your fiancée. If you had done it in a mindful way, this wouldn’t have come to this. Using your family name to commit a crime is unacceptable.”

Jeremy scoffed loudly. “A crime? A crime for teaching someone poor a lesson? Pathetic.” He waved dismissively at the pinned man.

“Guards! Go on and break his legs. I want to see what this stupid rag head is going to do!”

The guards raised their boots again, ready to stomp down hard. But in a split second, Marcus moved like lightning.

He closed the distance instantly and grabbed the wrist of the nearest guard in an iron grip. “This isn’t right. Let him go.”

Jeremy was amused by the audacity, laughing mockingly. “Guys, this man is really asking to be the one broken. Deal with him!”

All twenty guards turned toward Marcus at once, guns drawn and aimed. The entire restaurant fell into

terrified silence

People shrank back in their seats, some covering their mouths. Julia shivered violently, clutching the table as she called out desperately, “Marcus! Please, stop! They have guns!”

Marcus only smirked and stood straight, a fierce glint flashing in his eyes as two of the beads in his hand blinked. He was ready.

The fight erupted in chaos. The first guard lunged, but Marcus sidestepped effortlessly, disarming him with a precise twist and flinging the gun aside.

Two more charged with fists; he dropped them with rapid strikes to their pressure points. Bullets flew as others tried to shoot, but Marcus was faster-he weaved through them like a shadow, slapping guns from hands before they could fire accurately. In under a minute, he had disarmed half the group, using their own momentum against them.

Kicks, throws, and calculated punches sent bodies crashing into tables and walls.

The remaining guards ready to fired as Marcus closed in, dismantling their formation one by one.

By the end, all twenty guards lay groaning on the floor, defeated. Their guns were neatly piled in a heap before Marcus, who stood untouched amid the wreckage, breathing steady.

Jeremy stood frozen where he was, his face pale with shock. His eyes popped wide open, unable to believe what he had just witnessed. This man had taken out twenty armed guards like it was nothing more than a casual workout. Jeremy’s mouth hung open as he nearly ran mad with disbelief and rage.

Everyone in the restaurant dropped their jaws in stunned silence. Gasps and murmurs filled the air as people voiced their disbelief.

“Oh my God, did you see that?” one woman whispered loudly.

“How did he do that? Twenty men with guns… and he’s not even scratched!” another diner exclaimed.

“That was insane! He moved like some kind of warrior,” a man muttered, shaking his head.

The poor-looking young man, still on the floor but now released, stared at Marcus with deep admiration and respect.

Jeremy, on the other hand, felt like he could disappear into the ground. He stumbled backward, muttering fearfully, “Don’t… Don’t come near me. Don’t you dare.” His usual arrogance had completely crumbled, replaced by visible terror.

Just at that moment, a very thick, commanding voice boomed through the room. “What the heck is happening here!”

The deep vibration resonated through every corner, causing everyone’s body to jolt. They all turned toward the entrance. A tall, imposing man stood there, flanked by two strong-looking bodyguards who radiated power.

Seeing him, Jeremy rushed to his side desperately, shouting, “Father! Father! You are here!”
