The Disguised Billionaire She Rejected novel Chapter 91

chapter 91

Everyone went mute the moment Jeremy dropped his family name, the weight of the C-Empire hanging heavily in the air. No one dared speak.

Jeremy, emboldened by the silence, kept bragging with a smug grin. “My family always goes to the war front because of you people. We sacrifice everything so weaklings like you can sit here and eat in peace. Without the Coblen name, this city would’ve fallen apart years ago. We fund the military, we protect the borders, and what do we get? Disrespect from nobodies who can’t even afford decent clothes!”

He continued bragging, his voice growing louder and more arrogant. “My father has generals on speed dial. One call and entire districts tremble. That’s the kind of power you’re challenging right now. You should be thanking me for even letting you breathe the same air as me tonight.”

Then he turned his abuse directly at the young man. “And you look at yourself. Dirty shoes, cheap shirt, probably haven’t had a proper meal in weeks. How dare a lowlife like you open your mouth in my

presence? You’re nothing but a parasite leeching off society.”

Everyone could only gulped by this. This was pure power abuse.

The customer sighed deeply, his expression calm yet piercing. He looked Jeremy straight in the eyes and said, “At least, i know I’m poor. Some people inherit empires and still act like they were born in the gutter-loud, insecure, and desperate for attention. True power doesn’t need to empty a room to feel big. Sending all of us away, so you could make a proposal quiet and shallow.”

With that, he turned to leave.

Just as he was about to walk out, Jeremy immediately rushed forward and grabbed his shoulder. “Me?. Did you just say all that to me!. Did you just insult me right now!?”

The man sighed again, clearly wanting to ignore him and walk away.

But Jeremy wouldn’t let go. “Me! You are insulting me! and you want to go!. I swear you cant. you called my proposal shallow?”.

The man gazed at him.

“”You better go on your knees and apologize right now. Or else, it’s over for you!”

The young man stood resolute. “I can’t kneel for something so trivial like that. You are the one who abused and insulted me first. I only asked for basic respect as a customer.”

Jeremy stepped forward aggressively, his face twisted with rage. “I can tell you, if you refuse to kneel and apologize, consider yourself done. Because tonight, I will make you crippled right here!. you dare

insult me!”

But the young man remained resolute, unflinching.

“Guards!!!!” Jeremy shouted at the top of his lungs.

Before anyone knew it, over twenty guards-twenty armed men, all with guns drawn-swarmed into the restaurant from every entrance. The sound of heavy boots filled over the space.

Everyone gasped in horror.

Julia, visibly scared, gripped Marcus’s arm tightly and whispered, “Let’s just leave before things become more heated.”

But just as she and several other people-who were clearly thinking the same, stood up and began moving toward the exit, Jeremy shouted loudly, “Stop them! Seal the gates right now! No one is leaving until each and every one of you has witnessed what I am about to do to this guy. I will humiliate him and make you all watch the embarrassment!”

The heavy restaurant doors were quickly shut and locked by the armed guards. A wave of discomfort swept through the crowd. People shifted uneasily in their seats, exchanging nervous glances. Murmurs broke out across the room.

“What the heck is he doing, this is going out of hand!”.

“How could he be so cruel?” one woman whispered, shaking her head.

“This is too much. It’s just a simple argument,” another diner muttered under his breath.

“He’s treating us like hostages over his ego,” a man nearby said quietly, clearly irritated but too afraid to speak louder.

Marcus sat still, watching everything unfold with calm, interesting eyes. His expression remained composed, taking in every detail without saying a word.

Jeremy faced the young man again, his voice dripping with arrogance. “So, I am giving you two options. Either you go down on your knees in peace and nothing shall happen to you, or you stay being stubborn and I will cripple your leg. You should know, nothing will happen to me if I cripple you.”

Hearing this, the entire restaurant erupted into low, anxious whispers. Several people leaned toward the young man, urging him quietly.

“Please, just kneel and get it over with,” an older woman begged softly. “It’s not worth your life.”

“Don’t be stubborn, son. Apologize and kneel. He’s not joking,” another man whispered urgently.

“You can see he has the power. Just do it before this gets worse,” a third voice added, fear evident in their tone.

“I just want to leave here already. Just kneel, we will understand. please”.

The pressure on the young man mounted as more people whispered similar pleas, hoping to avoid any

further violence.
