At that moment, his fiancée entered the restaurant, dressed elegantly for what was supposed to be their engagement celebration.

Her eyes widened in horror as she spotted Jeremy on his knees, sobbing publicly.

She stood frozen, cheeks burning with embarrassment, wondering why her beloved fiancé, the man she was to marry that very day-was crying and groveling on the dirty floor.

As soon as Jeremy saw her, he drowned in humiliation. His face flushed crimson, and fresh tears spilled down his swollen cheeks. The woman he had boasted to all week now witnessed his complete downfall.

Mr. Coblen’s voice rang out clearly. “Just because everyone knows us doesn’t mean we are powerful enough to abuse the little authority we have. Power without discipline is poison. It destroys families and reputations.”

The statement sent ripples of surprise through the crowd. “He is a disciplined man,” one guest

whispered in awe.

“He even acknowledged one of his old comrades and refused to take his own son’s side.”

Murmurs of praise filled the room.

“What a man of integrity,” another added. “Rare to see leaders like this.”

Mr. Coblen turned to Marcus. “Do you wish to punish him further?”

Jeremy couldn’t believe it-his father was leaving his fate in this stranger’s hands. His heart pounded with dread.

Marcus shook his head calmly. “You already dealt with it. It’s okay. Thanks.”

With that, Mr. Coblen bowed deeply once more. “Guards, drag him away.” The men swiftly hauled the broken Jeremy to his feet and pulled him toward the exit. His fiancée, overwhelmed by embarrassment,

turned and rushed out without a word.

After everything settled, Mr. Coblen bowed again to Marcus and the room. “I ask for your forgiveness once more.”

The poor-looking young man stepped forward, still shaken. “Sir, I can’t believe you are this humble. Your son is exactly the opposite. I’m sure you taught him well, but he didn’t heed. Thank you for being a good person.”

Mr. Coblen sniffled slightly, his eyes showing regret. He apologized personally to the young man as well. With that, he turned and left the restaurant.

He knew from Marcus’s tone that he didn’t want his true identity revealed, so he kept silent about their deep connection and went with the comrades.

“LORD COBLEN!”.

“LORD COBLEN!”.

“LORD COBLEN!”.

They started hailing his name. with just that, everyone immediately loved him and felt attached for him.

Meanwhile, as soon as Mr. Coblen and his men dragged Jeremy away, the restaurant began to relax.

The young man named Ryan, suddenly dropped to the floor in front of Marcus. He groveled dramatically, eyes wide with admiration.

“Sir! My name is Ryan. I’m currently a martial artist… Wow! You impressed me there. You beat twenty armed men like it was nothing!” Ryan exclaimed, bowing deeply. “Master! Please, I want to learn from you.”

Marcus scoffed lightly. Marcus clearly had talent as a skilled martial artist, but the real edge behind Marcus’s speed and power was the powerful bead. no way someone can learn it. He kept that to himself.

“I’m not accepting students, sadly.” She said.

Ryan refused to give up. “Uhn, I really want to learn! I can pay anything. Please! Be my master, i want to he skillful and powerful as you.”

Marcus shook his head firmly, but Ryan clung on persistently, following him around the table and begging for his contact. After several minutes of insistence, Marcus finally relented and gave him a

number.

“I will contact you, Master!” Ryan shouted joyfully, bowing so deeply his forehead nearly touched the

floor.

After everything quieted down, Julia approached Marcus with worry in her eyes.

“Are you okay? I hope you are not hurt.” Genuine concern filled her face. It was obvious he was fine, yet her care touched him-something Jessica could never do.

He smiled softly and nodded. “I’m fine.”

With that, the restaurant slowly resumed its normal atmosphere. People returned to their tables, but the air buzzed with excited whispers and praises.

“What real men,” one diner said loudly, raising a glass. “The two young men stood up against Jeremy without fear. they were too courageous by speaking up.”

“Standing against the Coblen family like that? Incredible,” a woman added, clapping lightly.

Others nodded in agreement. “True warriors. Not like those bullies who hide behind family names.”

The praises for both Marcus and Ryan spread warmly across the room as everyone started eating again.

After they were done eating and the atmosphere in the restaurant had completely settled, Ryan hurried

over to Marcus once more.

He immediately bowed deeply.

“Sir, I will contact you soon,” Ryan said excitedly. “And please, if you ever need anything at all, you can call me. Day or night. I’m always available.”

Marcus looked at him helplessly.

Ryan grinned and quickly added, “Really, Master. Anything. If you need someone to run errands, help carry things, or even just accompany you somewhere, I can do it.”

Marcus rubbed his forehead.
