Chapter 113 I’m the One Who Called
“And another thing. On the third anniversary of Mom’s death, why did Yvonne suddenly fall? She didn’t fall before or after, bu

After saying this, Tracy turned and pulled Sean away. She had spelled it all out for them. If they still couldn’t understand, they were truly hopeless.
Looking at the hand Tracy was holding, the corner of Sean’s mouth lifted in an imperceptible smile.
When the two returned to the private room, everyone except Jared was still there, chatting about something. The moment they walked in holding hands, the conversation stopped abruptly. Everyone stared at their joined hands.
Tracy’s eyes crinkled slightly at the corners. Her gaze swept over the group. “What was everyone chatting about? You all stopped the second we came in. You weren’t badmouthing us, were you?”
It sounded like a joke, but Lincoln and Perry looked guilty. They had been badmouthing her. Even Quincy looked away guiltily, not daring to meet Tracy’s eyes. It seemed she had said plenty, too.
Tracy glanced at the three of them and smiled. “It seems you all enjoy gossiping about people behind their backs. Come on, tell me. What exactly did you say about me?”
She pulled Sean down into their original seats. She had wanted to pull her hand back and had tried to break free a few times without success, so she finally gave up.
The three of them avoided looking at Tracy, turning away as if to signal they had no intention of engaging with her.
Just then, two police officers walked in. The moment Quincy saw them, she started to tremble. She instinctively grabbed Yvonne’s hand like it was a life raft.
That damn girl was right-the police actually came. Wasn’t this place by reservation only? How did these two officers get in?
Quincy’s grip was painfully tight, and Yvonne frowned in annoyance but said nothing. Quincy, on the other hand, was pale with fright. She whispered to Yvonne, her voice trembling, “Yvonne, Tracy actually called the cops! What do I do? I really don’t want to go to jail!”
