Celine immediately took out her phone and dialed Adam's number.

The call connected quickly, and Adam's deep voice came through. "Hello."

"Adam, what are you doing? Why did you take Bella?" Celine demanded.

"Celine, come to my office. I'm waiting for you here," Adam said firmly.

"I..." Celine hesitated, wanting to refuse.

It was already late, and the last time she had gone to his office, things almost got out of hand. She didn't want to repeat that, especially not tonight.

However, Adam didn't give her a chance to refuse. "Celine, Bella is here. If you don't come tonight, you won't be able to see her again."

Celine's expression changed. "Adam, what do you mean? What do you mean I won't see Bella again? Bella is my daughter! What are you trying to do?"

"Is Bella just your daughter, Celine?" Adam questioned.

Celine froze, quickly realizing what he meant. She gripped her phone tighter. "Adam, what do you mean by that?"

"What do you think I mean? Celine, are you feeling guilty?" he challenged.

"I'm not guilty! What exactly are you implying?" she shot back.

"Celine, is Bella just your daughter? Who's her father?" Adam pressed.

"Adam, you—" she started but was cut off.

"I'm waiting for you in the office," he stated coldly.

Adam clearly wasn't interested in discussing it any further and hung up the phone.

Celine was left speechless. Although she didn't want to go to Adam's office, she had to. She felt that Adam had already figured out Bella's true parentage.

She quickly got dressed and headed for Alvarez Group.

Half an hour later, Celine arrived at Alvarez Group's CEO's office. She pushed open the door and strode inside.

Adam pulled out a DNA paternity test report and tossed it at Celine. "You can see for yourself," he said coldly.

Celine opened the report, and her heart sank. Adam had already done a paternity test.

"Yes, Bella is your biological daughter," she admitted.

Adam stepped closer. "Then why didn't you tell me earlier? Why did you lie to me? I'm Bella's father, and I have the right to know!"

Celine clenched her fists. "You've always had Carly by your side. I didn't want Bella to become your burden."

Adam was silent for a moment.

"I want to take Bella with me!" Celine declared.

"That's not going to happen. Bella is also my daughter. I want her!" Adam countered.

Celine trembled, staring at Adam in shock. "What do you mean? Are you trying to take Bella from me? Are you trying to fight for her custody?" she asked.
