Celine opened her mouth to speak, but Adam cut her off. "Celine, I know a lot has happened between us, but the truth is, I've only ever loved you. I never wavered. Give me another chance. Let's start over."
"Adam, we…" Celine started, but Adam cupped her delicate chin and captured her lips in a deep kiss before she could finish.
With just one kiss, he swallowed all her protests.
Celine gasped, pressing her hands against Adam's firm chest, trying to push him away.
"Adam, no! Let me go!" she protested.
Adam didn't budge. "I won't. Celine, don't tell me you don't love me anymore. I know everything—even about Perry being your senior."
Celine's body stiffened. She hadn't expected him to know about that.
"Celine, I've had no one else these three years, and neither have you. You still love me. I know it," Adam murmured.
Celine's heart wavered for a split second before she snapped, "I don't love you!"
Adam chuckled. "Your mouth says no, but your body tells the truth."
Before Celine could react, he captured her lips once more, deepening the kiss as he tasted her sweetness. His tongue pried past her lips, sweeping through her mouth with unrestrained dominance.
Celine hated herself at that moment. She wanted to resist Adam, but her body betrayed her.
Memories of their entanglement three years ago flashed vividly in her mind. Their chemistry had been undeniable. They had always been in perfect sync, losing themselves in each other until they were completely spent.
"Adam, stop—" she protested weakly, pushing at his shoulders.
Adam trailed kisses down to her delicate ear, teasing her with his warm breath. With a swift motion, he slid her coat off her shoulders, revealing the thin slip dress underneath. His voice was husky as he chuckled. "Look at yourself—you're melting in my arms, yet still saying no. Are you playing hard to get?"
Celine's face flushed with heat. At that moment, she suddenly had an epiphany. If she couldn't escape tonight, then why not enjoy it?
Celine grabbed his collar and pulled him close. "Mr. Alvarez, I want you."
Adam's smirk widened. "What am I to you then? A tool?"
Celine smiled mischievously. "You can be whatever you want to be."
Adam's gaze darkened with desire. "Have you missed me these three years, especially at night when you were alone? Did you think about me?"
Celine shivered under his intense stare. Adam was dangerous, especially in moments like this.
"Yes," she admitted.
Adam's fingers trailed along her jawline. "And what exactly did you think about?"
Celine leaned in, brushing her lips against his cheek before murmuring in his ear like a wicked temptress, "I thought about devouring you, Mr. Alvarez."

The readers' comments on the novel: The Divorce Prescription (Celina and Adam)
Such a wack writer....
And now we're onto another sets of characters that weren't included from the beginning....
Nathan and Michelle???...
Thought Celine got pregnant before Hailey…..how come Celine is 3 months and Hailey 7?...
if there is already a surveillance video as evidence for the poisoning of Hailey, why go all the trouble of pretending? Celine is also pregnant right? What is happening to them, and what about Adam's headaches ......
Why is this writer like this! Seems it’s going to be a never ending story!!! Rebecca or Melody, why is she here again!!! Don’t these female characters move on!!! Goshhhhh...
A man with a team of invisible bodyguards that only appear on orders and disappear in time of troubles. Hmm😆🤏...
When will Hailey show that she is Adam's cousin and be ruthless? Joanne needs to be put in her place and realize Jonah does not want her. Ewan is just as bad as she is. Hailey needs to get help from Celine or Adam if she doesn't want Jonah to find out what's happening....
If the focus has to go on other characters in the book, at least make it more interesting! They were separated for three years, and still having love rivals! Especially one from the past!!! Why can’t Ewan and Joanne move in together and move on!!...
Imagine the long read if they decide to switch back to Adam and Celine. Not reading this with the same enthusiasm from the beginning....
