She explained, "Felix really did find that corgi by the river during his morning run. It wasn't staged for views."

"It really does have an owner, too. When Felix brought it back, it was perfectly groomed with shiny hair, aside from some dirt on its paws."

"But the corgi's owner didn't abandon it."

Jasmine paused, pulling out her phone. She opened a photo and handed it to Nora.

"Look, this is the owner."

It was a young man, looking a bit thin, probably not even thirty years old.

In the photo, the man was holding the corgi, and the dog was stretching its neck, happily licking his chin.

"He really does work in tech, but he didn't get laid off. He got sick and had to be hospitalized, so he couldn't take care of the dog. He hired a dog-walker, and they accidentally lost it."

Thinking back to the video she had watched, Nora frowned. "Isn't the real story much better? Why post online saying the owner gave up and abandoned the dog because he couldn't take it on a train? The entire comment section is tearing the guy apart."

"Well..." Jasmine said softly. "The owner specifically asked us to post that."
