Maloney sat down right between Nora and Felix.

Nora felt like she was sitting on a bed of nails.

Felix, fueled by reckless bravado, fearlessly shared his grand scheme with Maloney.

"I'm going to invite Yates out to a spot with no security cameras. I'll make the move, throw a burlap sack over his head, and beat the living daylights out of him!"

Felix looked at Maloney with pure excitement. "What do you think, Maloney?"

Maloney turned to Nora and asked, "How many years?"

Nora sat up perfectly straight and replied in a solemn, professional tone. "Under three years for minor injuries, three to ten years for severe injuries."

Felix turned to Nora as well. "The organization trusts its legal counsel to adjust the plan accordingly."

Nora was speechless.

Honestly, it wasn't an impossible idea.

They just needed to fine-tune the details to turn 'intentional assault' into 'self-defense'.

For example, if Yates tried to attack Jasmine, and Felix stepped in to stop him, accidentally beating him into a pulp in the process.

But Nora felt that right now, both Jasmine and Valery desperately needed peace to heal mentally.

Yates shouldn't even be allowed near them.

"How about this?" Nora suggested. "I'll handle it. I'll ask Yates to meet me, expose all his crimes right to his face, and then pull out my phone and threaten to post everything online.
