She’d not been connected to by Anthony at all separately about him and Christy having a pup. He hadn’t even spared her the curtesy of discussing it or how it was going to go, just like he’d not when claiming that she–wolf either.

Though the very next day she knew shit was hitting the fan already, she was having breakfast in the dining hall when she heard Paul himself yell, “Christy doesn’t fucking care Anthony, just now stated ‘What does it matter if she never comes back. We don’t want wolves like her here anyway! To my face in front of you.”

Her head turned in the direction of the yelling after she saw many in here look right at her, as they too realized it was the pack’s Gamma yelling at the pack’s Alpha. She put a hand out to them and got up as if to say she was going to go and deal with it. When, in fact, she was just going to watch the show.

Then, why would she state for all of us to hear last night, that pack members could leave if they weren’t happy about her having your pup… She voiced it uncaring of who heard her, that was her true face. I was right fucking there and Sally heard those very words. I got everything from her,

“Her shock at hearing Christy say that, which turned to annoyance, and I felt she felt those words were utterly disrespectful towards the pack itself, and then she was just angry and what happened just two hours later… Hmm…” he grated out. “Where is Sally now? The head of the pack kitchen.”

Mischa knew the answer to that, being the actual true Luna of this pack, and one that the pack liked. Sally was indeed the one to run the packhouse kitchen. Today’s breakfast wasn’t up to par because she’d left is

Sally had mind–linked to her and informed her she and her entire family were leaving, that they no longer wanted to be inside a pack where the Alpha’s Mate was going to disrespect them all, and she felt would just kick them out if they didn’t agree with her. Then she had sighed heavily after a moment and stated, ‘1 don’t know how you have dealt with it all this time, Luna.’

Misha had stated the truth to her ‘Go to the Rising Blue Lotus, it’s where I’ll be soon. I’m also not staying Sally. Just waiting on the right moment to leave is all.‘

‘Good, you deserve better than a blind, deaf and dumb Alpha.‘ And then the link had been dissolved, and she felt it; nine pack members all rejected the pack at once. It had stung more than a little and if she felt it then she knew Anthony had.

She’d also been keeping a feel out for Louise as well, waiting for her to sever ties to the pack. It hadn’t come until 1 hour ago, Louise had waited, she believed, until she knew Anthony and the unit would be in

morning training, played her hand well, 30 Anthony could see Paul feel it; his own sister severing from the pack.

He’d lost 10 wolves in just 8 hours, give or take a few minutes, from that announcement of his pup with Christy, or from Christy’s words about the pack not being happy about

“I know what happened with Sally,” Anthony sighed. “Please just calm down, and we will bring Louise back.

Anthony muttered as Mischa walked into the packhouse foyer.

“Calm down, I just called her, you heard her yourself. She won’t even tell me where she went. Stated flatly, Christy doesn’t want me as her Gamma, Louise isn’t dumb, understands that means Christy feels our bloodline isn’t worthy of being part of the leadership.”

“You’re reading too much into it,” Anthony stated, “I’ll have Christy apologize.”

“Oh, of course you will, because she’s not goin and knows I’ll sense that, so it’ll be no erent from all the times you had to drag Christy to Mischa and

“You tried to explain it as I will stay on as Mischa’s Gamma… but where is Mischa? Pushed out of the Luna’s office by you and Christy, because she’s not a Luna anymore, relegated to an office at the back of the packhouse where no

one sees her, crunching numbers for this pack,

“There’s not even a desk in Luna’s office for her and why, because you don’t even want her in there. If you did, her desk would be in there regardless of you two being at full odds. That desk in that office would

“Yet did you fight for her to stay in there, drag her desk back every time she removed it because, Anthony, she feels like you don’t want her as you’re Luna or did you just accept it was gone? Effectively telling her you don’t want her as your Luna, that you’ve given up fighting for her in full, but at the same time are too spineless to voice that rejection and set her free,

“You’ve turned into a selfish asshole since Christy arrived, her venom is poison, and you’re affected by it.” Paul laid it all out for him, how he felt, how he saw it in all likelihood, likely how the entire pack saw and felt about it.

Mischa had to hold in the smile; she had a feeling Paul was actually really mad and just letting loose for the first time, on all he’d had to deal with since Christy came along as well. He knew he was leaving, and he was actively letting Anthony see his own pack Gamma felt disrespected by himself, not just Christy

Maybe he was even looking to have Anthony kick him from the leadership of the pack as well, to prove his point. She watched as Kendrick and Dereck stepped over to try and help the situation as they themselves realized it was escalating to a point of no return.

Watched as Paul snarled at them, “Fuck off” He’d pointed a finger at them, his own best friends for 40 years. “If it was your sibling’s leaving this pack, or him trying to replace you because Christy doesn’t like you, you’d be angry about it… Probably just a matter of time before she does. Probably plotting away on it already.” And he snapped and stalked off away from all of them.

That had Mischa’s undivided attention, he would know if she was plotting a full leadership change over, be able to feel it, and she wondered if that girl would go that far.

She’d watched Anthony run a hand through his hair, unhappy with all that had just transpired for him, between him and his Gamma. In front of many pack members now standing around like she was. As he watched, Paul stalk off up the stairs and away from him in what appeared to be a full fury over the loss of his sister.

Who was his only sibling, who he’d always been close with. This would be the first time the pack had seen Anthony and any of his unit at odds with each other. She’d never seen them yell at each other either. He likely didn’t know what to do about it, and she wondered if he was only now coming to realize he was likely losing his Gamma too.

“He’s not wrong,” Kendrick muttered. “If my brother or sister leave because Christy insults them, I’ll be

more than pissed off. If she wants you to replace me, because she doesn’t like me, you’ll likely have to defend her with more than words,” his own Beta told him.

Mischa shook her head as Kendrick looked right at her standing in the hallway that led to the dining hall. Louise rejected the pack, Mischa. Left in the middle of the night without a word to even Paul,” he told her, and she saw Anthony turn and look at her.

He blinked at seeing her, at the fact that she was standing right there, not more than 10 meters from him watching everything that had gone down, because once again, he’d not known she was right there and couldn’t feel her tether, let alone smell her.

“Right,” she stated. “Don’t ask me to help Kendrick. It’s not my problem to resolve issues for Anthony where Christy is concerned. I’ve told him before I’ll no longer clean up his messes. I meant that. I’m not needed in that office, so it’s no longer my place,” she stated.

Then she turned and looked at Anthony himself. “I’m not going to fix this, you’re reigning Luna caused the problem.I heard from all the yelling. So, she can fix the problem, although…” she moved her eyes to where Christy was standing in the Alpha’s Office doorway, looking not so happy right that minute. “I doubt she’ll be able to. Nothing will get past Paul and she knows it. So can’t go up there and lie to him, fake an apology.

”

She shook her head as she turned her eyes back to him and stared at him for 10 solid seconds before turning and walking off back down to the dining hall.

She connected herself to Paul. ‘How’d that feel?‘ she asked him.

‘Cathartic. He stated, ‘I managed to get it all out in one speech

‘That you did. It was fun for me to listen to. Did Louise give it to him as well?” she asked curiously.

‘Kind of, she stayed calm and simply stated she didn’t feel her bloodline was welcomed by his second

Mate, and so she left the pack. Has found a better place to go where the Alpha and Luna love and respected each other, protected all of their pack members regardless of rank and could see right from wrong. That she wouldn’t be coming back to be ruled over by a bitch deemed as having traitorous tendencies‘ He snorted. To which Christy’s response was, ‘What does it matter if she never comes back! We don’t want wolves like her here anyway?

‘And he still defended her!‘ she closed her eyes.
