The Elders Decision
Everyone got to see it all in chronological order of events. They all saw how annoyed Christy was about her being in heat and Anthony being with Mischa, to her words to him in the hospital and then him coming to Mischa to accuse her of doing this to Christy. That she–wolf didn’t look so good right now in anyone’s
eyes.
Even Christy saw it, that it looked like she was targeting Mischa and on purpose at that. Mischa said nothing at all, just waited until it was all over and then stated, “I think it’s time to open and read the blood work on Christy now,” And Anthony frowned at her. She looked at him and stated, “Just so no one can ever bring it up again… in the future to… sew discord between any of us.” She stated.
Christy gasped. “I would never do such a thing.”
Mischa rolled her eyes, she didn’t believe that for a millisecond it was going to be her go to if those bloods
weren’t looked at. She also saw Paul’s facial expression at Christy’s words. He didn’t believe it either.
Which meant he’d just felt something from Christy himself.
“Switched on, are we Gamma?” she asked.
“Of course I am.” He nodded. “I’m feeling both you and Christy out right now.”
“Wh… what? I don’t give you permission for that,” Christy gasped.
“Standard protocol in all pack investigations, Luna.” Paul smiled at her. “Or didn’t you learn that from the pack law book?”
She nearly laughed at that, wondered now exactly what Paul had felt from that speech Christy had made as well. She watched as Elder Ray picked up the envelope and opened it, and all the elders looked them over. Then it was handed to herself. There was a note at the bottom ‘No detectable drugs within Luna
Christy’s system.‘
She nodded and passed it to Anthony as Elder Simone stated, “Gillian, explain for everyone in the room the results in detail please.”
r
Gillian stood, “All the blood work shows that there are no heat–inducing drugs within Christy’s body, nothing synthetic or no traces of another’s heat pheromones that would be expected to be seen if this was done to her on purpose to cause her to go into a heat.
“As far as I can discern, Christy’s heat was simply a natural thing to occur. As for the severity of it, the length of time she was in heat and the excessive amount of bouts I heard have happened. I can explain that somewhat.” She took some papers and put them in front of the Elders.
“Here you can see that her own heat pheromone levels are way above normal, completely out of whack. Almost double what would normally be produced by a wolfen heat, this is what I believe caused her heat to be the way it was.
“As for why she suddenly went into heat, I’ve done some research. There are a few ways that can happen,
The Elder pl
including but not limited to one injecting their own heat pheromones into themselves, or having someone inject them into her. But there is another more obscure thought after watching all of that footage that! can think of.
“Christy was pulled into Mischa’s suite while she was in heat I saw, and well, I guess being that she and Mischa are both mated to Anthony, it could have triggered an unusual reaction of creating a heat within Christy, though the severity of that, I couldn’t find it documented anywhere.
“It’s something that is considered extremely rare and I mean like a one in a million rarity, and which only happens in a three–way bond, as we have here before us. Two she–wolves mated to the same wolf but not
to each other,” she explained.
“As far as I can tell from Christy’s blood work and all I’ve seen and heard in this room now,” Brent stated, ”
No one was out to force a heat upon Luna Christy. It was just a natural occurrence,” he sighed. “That being
said and all the blame being laid out in this room. I’d like to speak my piece, may I?” he asked.
Elder May nodded. “Yes, go ahead, you have been our pack’s doctor for four generations now, brought not only Anthony and Mischa into this pack, but myself as well. I’d like your take on everything medical that
happened from woe to go.”
Mischa’s mouth quirked and that one statement allowed Brent to say whatever he wanted without interruption on whatever he felt like. She heard a long breath come from Anthony and felt his eyes upon her, because he knew that meant even for her, because it all started with him leaving her heat unattended,
and she’d had to have medical attention herself.
“Thank you, Elder May,” Brent nodded to her and stood up. “Luna Christy’s heat saw Luna Mischa’s own heat be left completely unattended to, by her own Alpha Mate. Something I was informed of by the packs
Gamma Paul.
“After he was told by Mischa herself, she wanted me to prepare drugs for her next bout and all that came after it. Paul relayed to myself that Mischa thought her own Mate wasn’t going to be coming back to her at all. Sensed it from her demeanor when she spoke to him,” Brent sighed.
“I did as was requested because how could I not? I also prepared drugs for Christy as well, just in case the Alpha was with Mischa when Christy had a bout of heat. That never happened; I only had to send drugs to Luna Mischa. Now, I understand Christy was injured by the heat and the severity of it, but somewhere along the way…” he trailed off.
“Just state it, Brent.” Elder Allen stated. “We want all of it.”
“It was completely forgotten by our Alpha that Luna Misha also suffered. He did not even ask me if she was alright when he brought Christy to the pack hospital. So, I suppose he’s still unaware that his Luna, Mischa, suffered through nine bouts of heat, alone. Each one ever–increasing in its level of pain as they were left unattended.
“To the point she would have been in utter agony, she had many welts on her body from clawing at herself in an effort to stop the pain, drugs can only do so much. She would not be able to sleep properly by the

fourth bout of heat suffered alone; the lingering pain was constant by then, increasing rapidly, it’s documented to be about tenfold during the bouts.
“That she could not eat or drink anything by the last day. Nothing stayed down because of the constant racking pain she was in, and when she came to me under the weight of Paul’s Gamma Charm she was completely dehydrated, still in pain and utterly exhausted.
“All she wanted was to sleep. But she told me about how she was concerned about Christy’s heat and what her own wolf was feeling, the constant mating Laud felt from Shade, that she believed it was too much and this is why she asked me to prep that room in advance.
“Luna Mischa, regardless of all she suffered, never once stopped being à Luna, she was concerned for
Christy’s wellbeing. Yet here we now are with her being accused of such a terrible thing, and by the very
Luna she was trying to help.” He shook his head, “I’ve never seen such a thing in all my life, and I have seen
many things.
“Her love and care, concern for not just a pack member but her own Mate’s second Mate never faulted, but she was repaid not with a thank you, but with an accusation that she did this to Christy and why?
2
“All because she, as a Luna, bound to the same Alpha Mate as Christy herself, understood that Christy was being over mated, because her wolf felt that, from her wolfen Mate through their wolfen connection and relayed it to her.” Brent muttered, “Then I got blamed by Luna Christy just now in this room for apparently putting the idea in her head, that it was Mischa who did this to her. But now everyone can see it was no
one’s fault.”
She heard Anthony sigh heavily but ignored it to state, “So what I got from all of this, is Chirsty did this to herself and then blamed me for it.”
“Mischa!” Anthony admonished her.
“What?” She turned to look right at him. “Don’t yell at me like that, did Christy not accuse me to you, accuse you yourself, by extension, of my lying about my being in heat. Demanded that you prove I was to
her.
“Which in turn saw you pull her into my suite where I was in heat, so she could smell it for herself as proof 1, nor you, were lying about it. Which is what Gillian just stated was it not. That Christy being in my suite to smell my heat could have caused her to go into heat. If it wasn’t that, then she must have injected herself with her own pheromones right to set it off.” She laid out her trap. “Only two possible reasons for it now that I have heard or did, I miss something.” She asked him directly.
He glared at her. “Are you accusing Christy of injecting herself?”
“No, when did I say that I actually agreed with Gillian about that it was you bringing Christy into my suite and her smelling my heat that set it off, you jumped to that conclusion on your own. What idiot would do that to themselves? Not even I think Christy would do that.” She shook her head as if he was dumb. “But still Christy did this to herself did she not, by insisting on being brought into my suite.” she stated matter–of–factly.
The Elders
He could no longer argue with her about it not being Christy’s doing. He had two explanations and both of them led to Christy doing this to herself in one way or arrother.
“You don’t have to be so damned snug about it,” Anthony rapped out.
“Oh, so I see in your eyes it’s still my fault. My heat caused her heat, so I’m to blame, not Christy.” she shot
at him.
“I didn’t bloody say that, you’re making things more difficult than they need to be. It’s over and done with
now. It was no one’s fault. Can we just put it behind us and move on?” He stated, “Christy, let’s go.” He stood up.
“It’s not over sit down,” Elder May rapped out. “Only Mischa is cleared of any wrongdoing. She did not
harm Christy at all and had no intent to harm her. But Anthony, there were ramifications from this that
have not been apologized for either.
“You, Alpha, from what I saw and just heard, and you didn’t object to, so it’s clear from all Mischa stated just now about how and why Christy was brought into that suite by you, is all a fact. So you allowed Luna Christy to call Luna Mischa a liar. You did not clear her name with a simple answer that should be taken at value, because you are the Alpha to this pack and your word is law.
“You took your second Luna, who is known to be petulant and turn on the waterworks when you spend time with Luna Mischa… yes, we see a lot.” She stated, looking right at Anthony and then at Christy “to demand proof of another’s heat. Which is not something anyone in the history of this pack has ever had to prove happens. Let alone an Alpha having to prove his own Luna was in heat.”
“Bloody unheard of.” Elder Allen stated.
