Claim

Mischa didn’t react to the blatant disrespect, she’d expected as much, and it would be recorded as it was being seen. She knew how much Christy hated her and having to not only share the title of Luna, but to live

with the knowledge that she was the second Luna as well.

Mischa could well imagine that if Christy had met and been marked and mated first by Anthony, she would have demanded that he had to choose between them, told him it was one or the other, that he couldn’t have both, regardless of what their Goddess’s will was for him.

Or she would have been made to accept it, had no choice because Anthony hadn’t given her one, so she knew he would have claimed her regardless. Just like he’d done Christy. But after that moment, Christy would likely have found a way to get rid of Mischa the very first moment Anthony was off pack territory.

She’d honestly believed Christy hadn’t done that already because no one would believe it wasn’t her doing.

Not when no harm had come to Mischa inside this pack, a place she’d been born into and been the Luna of for 22 years, when she’d been claimed by Anthony.

She also didn’t think anyone inside this pack would go along with anything that Christy came up with to

see her death come about. None would help her plot and plan to kill the Alpha’s first Mate, not when she

was the one that had helped save this pack alongside their Alpha.

This pack not only trusted Mischa, but she knew them all and treated them with respect. She was a good

Luna and so there would be no reason to get rid of her in their eyes. It was also very likely that if Christy

did approach anyone to help her, they’d take that right to Anthony or Mischa herself. She’d start a full

investigation on it and expect Anthony to do so as well.

He’d have no choice, seeing as it was a full threat to the life of his Mate and Luna, and the truth would come out and Christy would be branded a full traitor, and he’d have to take her head off. There would be no coming back from that; trying to get others to help kill the pack’s first Luna. Them reporting it would,

she knew, also see Anthony, Alpha Order the truth out of them, thinking they’d been made to come and

state it, likely by herself only that would see the full truth of Christy’s behavior. It was the only thing from

stopping Christy doing that, Misha believed, so she’d come up with this plan, which involved no one, and

that blood work came back clean, so there was no need to Alpha Order her as to who induced her heat.

But that narcissistic side to her hadn’t bothered to think about all the possible ramifications or

complications. She was only ever concerned about what she wanted and how to get it in the moment. Not

the fall–out or that Mischa might actually challenge her because she had never done so at this point.

This had not been seen by Christy, and she couldn’t predict the outcome because she’d not thought it was

possible, that Mischa would survive Anthony’s wrath over her being harmed and laying the blame on

Mischa.

She sat there silently as the Elders listed out the crimes that had been committed in full for the pack to

hear and understand what this was all about.

Claim

“It was found through a full formal investigation that your Alpha, Anthony, and his second Luna, Christy, have both falsely accused Luna Mischa of acting in a way that would on purpose bring physical harm to

Christy. The crime of inducing a vicious heat cycle that would see Christy be over mated by her Alpha

Mate. Considered to be him brutalizing her when she could no longer handle the mating.

“It has now been investigated and proven by Christy’s own bloodwork, that her heat was naturally

occurring; there are no signs of it being induced at all. Luna Mischa did not in fact cause or have intent to

harm Luna Christy at all. The investigation was attended to by ourselves, the Alpha Unit, the pack’s doctor

and pathologist. We have all gone over all the facts of the case.

“Questioned both Anthony and Christy at length about what happened during Christy’s heat, and we have

now confirmed with Christy’s own words and Anthony’s confirmation that Christy pleaded with Anthony

not to call for help, to just stay with her and mate her, that she could handle it.

“That Christy even stopped Anthony from going and attending to Luna Mischa’s heat, a heat that started

the day before Christy’s did and both she and Anthony knew about. This is seen by us, the Elders of the

pack, as Christy wanting to cause direct harm to Luna Mischa.

“Anthony allowed himself to be swayed by Christy even when she was not in a bout of heat, and he could

feel that Luna Mischa was in a bout; to ignore it and stay by Christy’s side. Your Alpha willingly subjected

his first Mate and Luna to the suffering of her heat alone, for a period of three full days.

“Their crimes do not end there, because upon going to the hospital, Christy then implied her sudden going

into heat was Luna Mischa’s doing, that it was an intentional plan to bring harm to her with carefully

crafted words to sew doubt into Alpha Anthony, who was then seen to believe those words.

“He did not investigate the matter at hand as one should, just went directly to Luna Mischa and accused her of trying to harm Christy, his second Mate. We, the Elders to this pack, are more than disappointed in not only your Alpha but his second Mate as well.” May sighed and shook her head, stepped back and sat down as Elder Debbie stood and stepped forward.

“Harm being brought to any Luna in this manner on purpose, is written in the pack’s laws as a death sentence to the one that orchestrated it. Luna Mischa knowing this, and knowing she was innocent of the accusation, did what all good leaders of a pack would do.

“She ordered a full and complete investigation by the Alpha Unit and to have us the Elders, who are the former leadership of the pack, preside over the evidence and see the truth be brought into the light. Her innocence was easily proven by a blood test, but we the Elders could then see that Christy was trying to get Anthony to kill his first Mate and Luna.

“This is what they now must be punished for, regardless of your Alpha being led astray and not realizing

what was going on or the full ramifications of his own accusation until it was laid out bare for him to see by us, the pack Elders and Luna Mischa, who understood the implication and ramifications.”

“I did not want Anthony to kill Mischa. I would never do that,” Christy stated. “You jumped to that conclusion. I’ve never personally brought harm to Mischa.”

“Enought she–wolf, you were there, heard it, saw it all. Your own actions on those cameras in the packhouse, the pack hospital, showed your deceit and the way you led Anthony astray from the truth of the matter. You yourself knew your heat was not induced by anyone, yet accused Luna Mischa of setting it off right to Anthony himself, and he acted upon those words.

“You also ran from that meeting after hearing you were found out, headed for the border showing your

own guilt in the matter, over what we thought you were trying to do to Luna Mischa. Anthony saw it

himself with all the evidence before him, and reluctantly accepted it. He didn’t want to believe it but

couldn’t not see it.

“This is why you, and he, are here kneeling before the entire pack and Luna Mischa, dressed as you are and

about to be formally punished by us the Elders for your wrongdoing. I suggest you show some remorse. It is we the Elders, the former leadership of this pack, Luna Mischa herself and the current Alpha Unit who

you must show remorse to if you still want to plead your innocence.

“You never provided any evidence of your innocence, did not ask to be ordered the truth of, and I wonder

why? Would it in fact show how guilty you are of the crimes laid out? Instead, you fled the room when

Anthony wouldn’t console you and listen to your words of ‘I didn’t do it.‘ Anthony and yourself are now

prisoners.

“And prisoners have no rights unless granted to you by the reigning leadership, who is now Luna Mischa,

who you and Anthony wronged and on purpose. Do you have evidence of your innocence to present to us,

to the pack?

“You had three days to collect it but provided none. Not even Anthony came up with anything, because he

knew deep down inside the accusation was wrong, and even tried to get Mischa to call the investigation

off more than once, and why? To protect you, not to prove Mischa’s innocence, again that was wrong of

him, don’t you think.” Debbie shook her head. “It’s disgraceful, is what it is.”

Mischa looked right at Christy but said nothing at all. Though she finally saw that she–wolf come to the

realization that she had no power at all in this moment, she hadn’t even realized that she should be taking

her cue from Anthony, who was kneeling there saying nothing at all.

Christy was too high and mighty to understand that even she could be punished for her wrong doings. She had gotten away with hundreds of small things over the past two years; where Mischa was concerned,

and now actually believed she was untouchable. She was learning right this minute just how wrong she

was.

Debbie stepped back and sat down, and Elder Simone stood and stepped forward. “The punishment for

Luna Christy was originally death, but it was rescinded and changed to being rejected, and banished from

the pack, only to have Anthony plead for mercy on Christy’s behalf, even though it is seen as everything

done was intentional.

“Luna Mischa listed to her own Mate and, as upset and aggrieved as she is over this matter herself, she has still offered full leniency and reduced the punishment for Luna Christy to lashes and time on the shaming post, the lashes to be served, 30 of them. Then she will be remanded to the cells for a period of

time yet to be set by Luna Mischa,

“So that Luna Christy can learn the real errors of her ways and never again try to bring harm by way of tearfully spoken words that lay blame, but at the same time tried to cover up the laying of blame. Luna Mischa, have you decided how long that cell detainment will be for Luna Christy?” Simone asked, turning

to look at her now.
