Giving Christy Exactly What She Wants

She returned to her duties inside that office, as did her unit. She knew they were unhappy about what she’d said, they’d all stared at her like she was almost crazy, and she’d put it to them to think about it, what they’d seen over the past year, who he spent his time with, and who spent money and who stayed in the pack and actually did the Luna’s Duties.
They’d all kind of just stared at her and then muttered, ‘It’s not fair. Why doesn’t he see it?‘
He did see it, that was the problem. He knew everything because she’d laid it all out for him, in the hope it would see him realize his error, but it had not. The only conclusion she could
come to was, because that was actually what he wanted regardless of what he said. Or how he tried to portray himself to her, or the pack.
She leaned back in her chair after the girls all headed off for the afternoon, she still had accounting work to do. But a part of her wondered why she bothered at all, and she was consumed with thoughts of what to do. Should she stick to her plan, or should she just leave?
She’d offered Anthony a redemption arc, and told the Elders she would give him a year, but here and now, she understood everything was going to just go back to the way it was, that arc had peaked and was falling away to the ground once more.
Once again she wondered just what kind of hold that girl had over him and his beast?
Three and a half weeks since Christy returned, give it three more and from what she was seeing, everything would be back to her being completely eclipsed by Christy. And things were going to go back to the way they had been for the past year.
Well, she supposed, instead of just sitting here waiting for it to happen slowly but surely, she should get up off her ass and help it to come about much quicker. She didn’t want it to drag out and on for weeks on end. Would rather it just be an instantaneous thing.
She could feel Anthony or Shade she supposed out there in the pack, racing about, likely still in a fit of rage, because her words had implied she was actually done, and he’d never get her back, even if they were still bound to each other. They were over is how his beast had likely
taken her words.
All it had taken was for him to take Christy into that suite of his, and though he’d blamed Christy for that very thing, and hurled out angry words at her as well. It was, as far as Mischa was concerned, his fault. He had just pushed the blame onto Christy because he didn’t want to admit that he’d been the one to take her into the Alpha Suite and break his word.
He had no one to blame right now but himself and that was why Shade couldn’t it seem to

calm down out there. She felt him leave the pack, barreled out of it, she thought and sighed and got up. If he wasn’t going to resolve this one particular issue, then she would. No more would she sit and have Christy play the innocent. I don’t want to be in the Alpha Suite card, I don’t want what is Mischa’s. It was time to start handing it all to her one thing at a time, starting with that Alpha Suite.
So, when Christy tried to play that card, and said that. Mischa could actually turn the tables on her and state, ‘But don’t you already have my…‘ she nodded and got up from her desk and walked over to the cupboard where the packhouse access cards were housed, and she took one and recoded it so it would open both the Alpha and Luna’s suites.
She would go and give it to Christy. She’d told her to move into the Alpha Suite, and she’d meant it, now she was going to give that she–wolf the means to do so. Letti could attest to the fact that Mischa had not only given way to Christy, but had given her full approval for Christy to move in with Anthony full–time.
So, it wasn’t like it was some nefarious plot, it was open knowledge for others to know. She walked from the Luna’s office and into the foyer, that card in her hand, to see Kendrick walking in through the front doors, “He just left pack territory, Shade is in a rage and a half, what happened, Mischa?” he asked.
“Hmm, where to start…” she stated. “One, I saw him and Christy coming out of the Alpha Suite, and he stated it’s not what it looks like. Two, he came to apologize, only to not really mean it, because he took her in there himself. Of his own free will, so…” she shrugged. “Three, he then accused me of spying on him. When I told him, I already knew he’d taken her in there and broken his promise that he wouldn’t do that ever again.” She waved a hand in the air as if that was explanation enough.
Then she smiled at Kendrick “Should we investigate that very thing, Kendrick? If I am spying
on him?” she asked.
Kendrick huffed. “No,” he muttered right back, “I know you’re not spying on him, you’ve never tracked his every move, and I’m certain you’re not doing it now. Likely couldn’t care less when or where he spends his time with Christy… Am I right?
She nodded. “I don’t, I’m also going to go and prove that in a minute,” she stated, “just like I told him upstairs when I saw them coming from his suite.”
“What did you say to him exactly?” Kendrick murmured, though he looked very unhappy.
“That I will never reside in the Alpha Suite,” she told him and watched the pack Beta frown at her words.
“Do you know how that could be taken?” he asked.

“Yes,” she nodded. “I agreed not to reject him, and to give him a chance to prove his loyalty to me, I’ve not issued a rejection Kendrick, and his loyalty..” she shrugged. “Is back to being with Christy, because that’s actually what he wants, he is I believe too gutless to issue a rejection to his Luna of 22 years, and have to explain himself to not only this pack but all his allies.”
Kendrick stood staring at her. “Right,” he nodded. “I see where you stand.”
“Yes, as does my unit. I’ll wait for the day he regrows his balls, shall I?” she stated and walked away from a quite shocked–looking Beta. She didn’t really care anymore, and now it
showed was all.
She took herself up to the Alpha floor and to the Luna Suite, and pressed the doorbell. It took a full minute before Christy opened the door. Though Mischa had taken a full step back to wait, she wouldn’t get close to this she–wolf and was making sure the cameras were catching that.
“What do you want?” Christy asked and placed a hand over her stomach.
Mischa looked at her actions and knew this was just Christy doing what she always did, making herself look like the victim. That Mischa was here to intimidate her. “Do you really want to play that card with me…” she raised an eyebrow at Christy. “That you’re afraid I’m going to harm what, a pup you may or may not be carrying? There are plenty of cameras in this hallway, or have you forgotten already? I’ll use them to prove I’m not a threat to you,” she
stated and held out that keycard to her.
“What’s that?” Christy asked, dropping the act and folding her arms across her chest.
“It’s my full blessing to you and Anthony. I’ve coded this for you to have full access to the Alpha Suite, so you can move into it. I’ll send you a dozen Omegas to help you move in there after dinner, Mischa told her simply, calmly. “I wasn’t kidding about never returning to the Alpha Suite. You, Christy, are getting everything you want. I am handing it to you on a platter.”
She saw a smugness touch Christy’s face and felt amusement roll off Laud, and a smirk touched her own face now. She knew that handyman was across the hall working on re–plastering the wall Anthony had destroyed. It was the very reason Christy had acted as if she was afraid of Mischa when opening the door to her.
Mischa waved that card at her. “Here you go, take it with my blessing.”
She saw Christy look at the card and then at Mischa, and she could see that Christy wanted to take it, but was now hesitant to do so, “No, you’re tricking me, trying to see me as the bad person in all of this.” Christy shook her head.
Mischa laughed softly. “A bit late for that, don’t you think, with the stunt you pulled and got yourself locked up for.” She shook her head. “That pack already sees who is the bad person…

She waved that card again at her. “You want to live in the Alpha Suite, Anthony clearly wants you to live in the Alpha Suite, to have you in his bed every night. I’m simply giving you both what it is you want. Until the day you can get him to willingly reject me just for you. When you do that, I’ll leave this pack, and he’ll be all yours,” she stated. “I promise I won’t fight it, I’ll accept it even, without so much as batting an eyelid.”
She saw Christy’s eyes move to that card and then to the handyman behind her who Mischa was certain was listening to everything she was saying. Probably was horrified by her very words of accepting a rejection and leaving the pack. He was older than her own parents.
Christy’s eyes moved back to her, and she actually took a step back from Mischa and shook her head. “That is not what I want.” She stated, “Anthony has two Mates, and I am fully accepting of that, Mischa. Happy to share him as is the will of the Goddess.
“I’ll only accept something like this, moving into the Alpha Suite if Anthony himself asks me to do so, not because you’re doing it just to see me look as if I want what is yours. I have a suite, it’s lovely. I don’t need to be in a suite designated for you and Anthony.” She shook her head. “I’m not that kind of person.”
Mischa heard the handyman scoff from behind her, and saw Christy’s eyes move right towards him, and anger touched her face.
“Like the pack members don’t know you’ve been living in there for the past year. Even the Elders know that. I am also aware of where your heat took place, that you left your own suite when it came on, risked yourself to harm to go to the Alpha Suite.
“Do you think I don’t know why you did that… To have Anthony pull you into the Alpha Suite!” Mischa shook her head. “Just move in there and save me the hassle of moving you in there myself. I will, you know, just to prove I don’t care that you’re in there.”
