The Ex-Con Who Conquered the World novel Chapter 11

The Seabar Tower of River City had once been an office tower, slated for demolition and redevelopment. Companies had gradually moved out, leaving the structure abandoned.

Yet, for some unknown reason, the planned demolition never happened, and the building remained standing.

An abandoned tower should have been deserted. However, once night fell, luxury cars would gather, streaming into its underground parking lot. Many of River City's prominent figures frequented the tower at midnight.

The secret lay three floors underground.

"Kill him!"

"Shark, kill him!"

"Hahaha! Shark knocked out his opponent! A one-hit kill! I just made another ten million!"

"Next match... will it be Shark versus Battleaxe? That would be something to look forward to!"

The venue buzzed with continuous shouts and roars. Crowds of men and women screamed wildly towards a central ring.

On that blood-stained platform stood a towering, muscular bald man, his build like a small mountain, radiating immense pressure and murderous intent.

On the floor of the ring lay another man, his head shattered, brain matter and blood pooling grotesquely. The thick, pungent scent of blood permeated the air.

This was an underground fighting arena. The scenes of blood, violence, and brutality intertwined with the frenzied cheers of the spectators, creating a spectacle of raw savagery.

The arena was divided into general seating and VIP boxes.

The VIP boxes were private, soundproofed rooms offering anonymity at a much higher price.

Inside one such VIP box sat two women. One wore a beige dress and a face mask, only her eyes—sparkling like a galaxy of stars—visible. Though her face was hidden, the innate air of nobility she exuded marked her as someone of significant status and wealth.

The other woman had short brown hair and wore a form-fitting black leather outfit that accentuated her slender figure. An aura of sharp capability and a certain imposing presence surrounded her.

"Miss, since we're already in River City, why not go directly to the Tiger Head Society? Why bother watching these underground fights?" the short-haired woman asked, perplexed.

The noblewoman spoke softly, her voice like shattered gem or a phoenix's cry, extraordinarily pleasant to the ear. "Janet, while I don't fear the Tiger Head Society itself, we cannot ignore the Dragon Sea Chamber of Commerce behind it. I'm here representing the family's interests in River City, and the Tiger Head Society is the main obstacle..."

The woman named Janet was about to respond when she saw a stunning, provocatively dressed female host stride onto the ring.
