The Ex-Con Who Conquered the World novel Chapter 20

"A Sixth-Rank Dark Sect cultivator?" Korbin's gaze darkened, a cold sneer curling his lips. "No wonder you dared to come to my Tiger Head Society. But with just this level of strength, you think you can pressure us? You're severely underestimating the Tiger Head Society!"

Whoosh!

As his words fell, Korbin suddenly leapt up, throwing a punch of his own.

Within his fist momentum was a powerful hidden force that erupted from his knuckles, meeting Janet's punch head-on.

Clearly, Korbin was also a Hidden Force Grandmaster, his rank no lower than Janet's.

Martial artists were divided into the Warrior Realm, the Hidden Sect Realm, and the Transformed Sect Realm.

Each realm had nine ranks.

The Warrior Realm referred to martial artists who could only use overt force. Once they converted overt force into hidden force, they advanced to become Hidden Force Grandmasters.

Above Hidden Force Grandmasters were Perfected Realm Grandmasters.

Perfected Realm Grandmasters were also called Great Grandmasters and held an extremely transcendent status within the Dragon Kingdom.

However, a Perfected Realm Grandmaster was only equivalent to the Meridian Opening realm among martial cultivators.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

In an instant, Janet and Korbin had already exchanged several fierce blows. Each move was vicious, their hidden forces raging, causing the air to crackle with sonic booms.

Their strengths were close, evenly matched.

But Korbin had numbers on his side. The moment he moved, the black-clad men behind him immediately drew military knives, daggers, iron rods, and other weapons, swarming to surround and attack Janet.

Immediately after—

Clatter-clatter!

From the corridor outside the office came the sound of dense, rapid footsteps. In the blink of an eye, over a dozen black-clad men with fierce auras rushed in.

Judging by the energy they released, these men were clearly all Warrior Realm fighters who had developed overt force. Over a dozen of them united, wielding deadly weapons, made for a formidable fighting force.

As they charged in, some joined the fray while others surrounded the area where Nina and Stefan stood.

Janet, who had initially been able to fight Korbin to a standstill, found herself hard-pressed as more fighters joined the attack. She was forced to retreat step by step.

Even Stefan couldn't help but glance at Nina again. For someone of her noble status to have cultivated her martial arts to this level was truly impressive.

"Korbin, you will pay a bloody price next!" Nina stated coldly.

"Hahaha!"

Korbin, however, threw his head back and laughed, his face devoid of fear, a sinister grin spreading across it. "So what if you're Ninth-Rank Dark Sect? You're still going to fall into my hands today!"

"Hmph! Delusional!" Nina snorted coldly. Clenching her fists, she prepared to strike.

However, as she intended to stand up, her legs suddenly went weak. Not only was she unable to rise, she collapsed back onto the sofa. A sensation of utter limpness spread through her entire body.

Moreover, a wave of intense, unholy heat rapidly surged from her lower abdomen, spreading through her limbs, an extreme, scorching restlessness engulfing her.

Her exquisite face quickly flushed with a deep blush, like a blooming rose, breathtakingly beautiful and alluring.

In an instant, a powerful, overwhelming desire surged forth like floodwaters from a broken dam, utterly inundating her.

Struggling to maintain control, Nina's face shifted between shock and fury. "Despicable! Vile!" she spat out indignantly. "You dared to use poison? No, that's not right... I checked the coffee. There shouldn't have been anything wrong with it!"
