Haynes didn't try to hide it. "I didn't just come to Solmaris to see you. I'm actually here to dodge Queenie Burton."
Stella's gaze sharpened. "What's going on with Queenie?"
Haynes rubbed his temples, looking exhausted. "A while ago, Queenie showed up in Neo-Vespera and kept pestering me endlessly.
I couldn't stand the harassment, so I came here to lay low."
Stella had heard rumors about Queenie's obsessive crush on Haynes.
She hadn't expected that after all these years, Queenie's feelings would remain so stubbornly persistent.
"Logically, I have no right to interfere in your personal life," Stella said. "However, Queenie is incredibly close to Aurora. Given my current relationship with Aurora, and what happened to Sellers, Queenie undoubtedly hates me to the core.
If you choose her, Keen might end up taking the brunt of her misplaced anger."
Haynes immediately shook his head. "I have zero interest in her, and there is absolutely no way I would ever be with her.
Star, don't worry. I will never let anyone harm Keen."
Stella was about to say something else when her phone suddenly rang.
She glanced at the caller ID; it was Gideon.
She answered it.
Gideon's hushed voice came through the receiver.
"Ms. Cameron, Jonathan is making a move."
"What kind of move?" Stella asked.
"Recently, he's been in contact with people from the Hayser family," Gideon reported quietly.
"The Hayser family..." Stella murmured. "Anything else?"
"That's all for now," Gideon replied.
Stella acknowledged the information and ended the call.
"What's wrong?" Haynes asked.

"So that's how it is..."
"What did you figure out, Star?" Haynes asked.
"Jonathan wasn't in a coma for very long, but I've already seized control of The Williams Group. Winning back the shareholders won't be easy for him now.
So, his only viable option for a comeback is a strategic marriage.
And it has to be a marriage that provides him with immediate, powerful backing.
Aurora is married to McCoy Chapman. He won't marry a Chapman daughter, as that would just be a waste of resources.
Antoney Watson is an old friend. Even if Jonathan married Florrie, the Watson family wouldn't help him.
Sellers is practically a cripple now, so a marriage alliance with the Burtons wouldn't yield much leverage either.

As for the Lerman family... Simone Lerman would never marry him, and he certainly wouldn't be able to marry Harland Lerman's sister.

The author needs to bring Joshua and Star back together! And the same people always trying to take her down is getting old...
Oh come on! This is ridiculous, why can’t you let Stella finally be happy with Joshua. I’m done with this story....

The same rotation blaming Stella trying to get her destroyed. Isn't the writer tired of writing the same foolishness overand over again? This is exhausting....
Can’t wait to see what joshua will do...
Why would the author of this book do that to Stella? Such cruelty!...
So many chapters are incomplete. Missing pages. Hard to get continuity...
