The kiss was so deep and passionate. Gabriel didn’t pull away from the kiss immediately. He made sure he claimed everything in Isla’s mouth, stealing her breath away.
For a few seconds, the world around them faded. There was no island, no mansion, no friends watching. It was just Isla and Gabriel-heart to heart, breath to breath, love. pressed into every second of the kiss.
Then clapping from their friends broke the moment. They clapped, cheered and whistled. It was a happy moment.
“Finally!” Peter shouted, laughing loudly.
Sofie clapped excitedly beside him, her eyes shining. “You two are going to give us diabetes with all this sweetness!”
Sofie’s words made everyone chuckle more. The laughter didn’t stop.
Benjamin laughed, wrapping an arm around Betsy’s shoulders. “I told you this anniversary would be unforgettable.” He whispered the words into Betsy’s ear.
Isla pulled back, her cheeks flushed, her eyes bright with happiness and tears. She buried her face briefly in Gabriel’s chest, laughing shyly while he smiled proudly, one arm wrapped firmly around her waist.
“I can’t believe you all are here,” Isla said, turning to their friends. “You left your kids just for us?””Of course,” Sofie replied warmly, and confidently. “Peter’s grandmother practically chased us out of the house.”
Betsy nodded with laughter. “Same here. Sofie”s grandmother-in-law said we deserved a break-and you deserved this celebration.”
Isla felt her heart swell again. She reached out and hugged them one after the other, overwhelmed by love and gratitude.
Gabriel cleared his throat slightly, drawing everyone’s attention back to him.
“This island,” he said calmly, his eyes locked on Isla, “is my first surprise. I bought it for us. For our family. A place where we can disappear whenever life gets too loud.”
Isla gasped softly, her hands flew to her mouth. For a moment, she couldn’t say a word. She turned to him slowly. “You… bought the island?”
He nodded. “Every corner of it belongs to you and me.”
Her hands trembled as she touched his face. “Gabriel… this is too much.”
“No,” he said gently. “You are worth more than this, my love.”
Before Isla could respond, soft music floated through the air. One of the staff appeared quietly, bowing slightly before them.”Madam Isla,” the woman said politely, “your room is ready. We prepared something special for the evening celebration.”
Gabriel leaned close and whispered, “Go get ready, my love. Tonight is all about you.”
Again, Isla couldn’t say anything, all the surprises really overwhelmed her. It was too perfect and unreal.
She followed behind the maid and as they walked. Isla looked around her. Every corner looks just like their home.
There was no doubt that Gabriel did it that way because he knew how she loved their mansion back at home.
The interior was warm and luxurious-high ceilings, flowing curtains, marble floors, and gentle scents of flowers and vanilla drifting through the halls.
Her room was on the third floor, overlooking the ocean.
From there, she could see the beautiful yacht waiting. She smiled, watching the waves move calmly under the moonlight.
She saw candles lined the balcony. Everything was beautiful. On the bed lay a stunning dress-soft, flowing, and elegant, paired with delicate jewelry and simple heels.
Isla touched the fabric slowly, her heart pounding.
