Chapter 457 The Return Everyone Waited For
Elizabeth burst out laughing
“Alright, it’s a deal then,” she said. “I’ll be here waiting for you at 9.”
Wallace nodded repeatedly. Halfway through nodding, he suddenly remembered something.
He slapped his thigh hard.
“No!” he exclaimed. “This is such great news! I have to tell everyone!”
He hurriedly pulled out his device, his fingers trembling with excitement.
The first call went to his wife.

“Gianna! Hurry over to Mercury Plaza! Ms. Schofield is back! Yes, Ms. Schofield from Tycoon Farm! She’s reopening her stall! Starts at 9! Hurry up and get over here!”
The second call went to his son.
“Jonathan! You’re still sleeping? What are you sleeping for?! Get up already! Bring your wife and kid to Mercury Plaza! Ms. Schofield is back! Yes, Ms. Schofield from the Tycoon Farm! Hurry! If you’re late, everything’ll be sold out!”
The third call went to an old comrade.
“Miguel! Guess who I just saw at Mercury Plaza? Ms. Schofield! Ms. Schofield from Tycoon Farm! She’s reopening her stall! Didn’t you complain every day about missing her sweet potatoes? Get over here now!”
4th call. 5th call. 6th call…
Wallace made more than a dozen calls in one breath, looking as though he wanted to summon every person he knew on the capital planet.
Nearby, Fiona, who was setting up the stall, stared in disbelief.
“Boss,” she whispered, “Mr. Lichtden is really…”
Elizabeth watched the old man gesturing wildly as he made call after call and shook her head with a laugh.
“Let him be,” she said. “They’re all old customers. They haven’t seen us for months. They’ve missed this place.”
After finishing his final call, Wallace put away his device and let out a long breath.
Then he turned back toward Elizabeth, excitement still written all over his face.
“Ms. Schofield,” he declared, “I called a ton of people over. Don’t worry. Business is definitely going to be booming today!”
Elizabeth smiled and nodded.
“Thank you, Mr. Lichtden,” she said, “I’ll save the best fruit for you today.”
Wallace grinned from ear to ear.

He stood there watching Fiona and the others continue bustling around, watching the familiar stalls slowly take shape again, watching boxes stamped with the Tycoon Farm Jogo being opened one after another… Revealing bright red strawberries, vibrant green vegetables, golden yellow apples…
He took a deep breath.
That long–lost, sweet fragrance of fresh produce had finally returned.
Time passed minute by minute.
7 a.m… 8 a.m… 8.30 a.m….
More and more people gathered in the plaza.
Wallace’s wife arrived and stood beside him, her eyes growing slightly red as she looked at the stalls.
His son and daughter–in–law came too, bringing along their little grandson. The boy stared at the strawberries with wide, dazzled eyes.
His old comrade Miguel showed up as well. The first thing he did was slap Wallace on the shoulder and say, “You old bastard finally did something useful.”
Then came the distant relatives Wallace had called, along with longtime customers who had rushed over after hearing the news through word of mouth.
By 8.50 a.m., several hundred people had already gathered in the plaza.
Standing behind the stall, Elizabeth looked at the crowd, warmth blooming quietly in her chest.
Fiona leaned closer and whispered, “Boss, didn’t you say we shouldn’t announce anything so fewer people would come? You said today would just be a trial opening. But this crowd is way bigger than we expected.”
Elizabeth nodded.
“Get ready to open,” she said.
At exactly 9 a.m….
Elizabeth cleared her throat and raised her voice. “Thank you all for waiting! Starting today, Tycoon Farm’s stall in Mercury Plaza is officially back in business! Same rules as before. First come, first served, while supplies last!”
The crowd erupted into cheers.
Wallace was the first to charge toward the strawberry stall.
“Ms. Schofield!” He pointed excitedly at a basket of huge, ruby–red strawberries. “A hundred of these! And another hundred potatoes!”
Laughing, Elizabeth personally packed them for him.
“Take it easy, Mr. Lichtden. And everyone else too. Don’t rush. We brought plenty today.”
Wallace accepted the strawberries and immediately turned to wave at his wife.
