Karl created two thousand fresh Elven Silver coins, and handed them over in a bag to the merchant, who also gave him the same startled look that the other sailors had.

"If it’s Elven Silver, there is a discount. Here, your items and your change."

The bag was a quarter full when Karl got it back, a full five hundred coin discount for paying in the Waveriders’ preferred currency. He would have to remember that for future transactions.

If he could get that sort of discount on big ticket items, it would make them much more affordable for him to acquire for the team.

And the team had a rather long list of thing that they would like to get their hands on.

Once they got the plants started and spreading through their spaces, they needed to see all the new magical resources that this world had to offer.

Karl also didn’t know a martial arts style that the turtle could use. That was an oversight that they were going to have to remedy. If he was going to be training at the school with the others, he needed to be able to keep up with them.

They all had classes, but he just had whatever he could borrow from Karl.
