Knowing that they wouldn’t lose out on the Guild Skills when he was gone and establishing a new Branch House in the Immortal World was a huge weight off Karl’s mind.
With everything else that had happened today, it was nice to get some good news.
Everyone sat silently, letting Lotus’ area healing recover any lingering injuries as they ate.
"Well, we actually can’t stay here too long. We’ve got a dungeon run this afternoon, but it’s been a pleasure to come out and have a proper fight," the Supreme with the white wings sighed.
"Oh, add us to your friend list! We can come out and play later. None of these guys is any fun. I think they still see me as a little sister to protect and not a serious group member," the Elf added.
Karl laughed. "I’m a bit under ranked to run Dungeons with you. But definitely add me to your friends list. I don’t know if we will be able to communicate across worlds, but at the very least I’ll be able to use it to find you so I can open a portal."
"You can do interplanetary portals without a device? That is handy. Can you do between planes as well? I want to go to the Fae Realm and chase pixies!"
Karl laughed, and the other Supremes groaned at the memory of the last time she did that.
"Actually, I can. But I also have a Forest Trickster right here if you would like to play tag."
The Elf giggled. "I was mostly joking. But I will remember that promise. Trying to catch them is delightfully difficult, it keeps the mind sharp."
{Friend Added} Allie Treefriend
{Friend Added} Joseph Lightbringer
{Friend Added} Douggie420
{Friend Added} Maribel
Karl nodded, and accepted that the other six were simply tagging along with these more influential branch leaders, or not outgoing enough that they wanted people to contact them.
"Oh, before you go, let me make you a little something. I can’t let you help for free. Actually, I think that I have something that might suffice already in my inventory."
Karl took out a handful of Villa Stones, and passed them out among the group.
"Oh, this is nice. Even better than my old tent, and it’s got an energy gathering array built in, plus a self stocking kitchen?
You know, you might have come from a Mortal World, but you really did inherit the spirit of the Darklight Host right from the start. You probably don’t know yet, but the Guild is somewhat notorious for coming up with strange and unique magical items and spells.
We’ve got some of the only Spellcrafter Class Immortals you’ll find anywhere, you know." Allie bragged.
"You know, I have the [Skill Merger] ability, and I really should make better use of it. There are so many options here in the Immortal World that I definitely do need to find an opportunity to stock up hundreds of them, just to make fun new things." Karl agreed.
"That’s the spirit. Teach it to your Dana Mage as well. She’s likely the smarter half of your pairing."
Dana laughed as the guys in the Supreme group rolled their eyes.
"Hey, us lovely young ladies need to stick together. If we let the boys do all the thinking, they’d split the task between both heads and never get anything done."
