Skadi didn’t think that was likely. Skadi didn’t know anything about group battle tactics, so how could she know whose approach was the better one?
Besides, she had enough troubles of her own, trying to keep the hatchlings from using her as a pillow for nap time. She didn’t need to get all worked up about other things.
But the young Forest Lord did have a new responsibility here.
Her form of nature magic was meant to make things grow, and to alter a forest so that it could take care of itself. And in the Tiny World that translated to helping the Nature Priestesses with the gardening work.
It was a lot of fun, they got to practice adding mana to magical plants, and making the food grow just right for harvest, and even trying to improve the quality of some of the lower grade plants, so that they could be used as both food and reagents.
There wasn’t much more that a Forest Lord could ask for.
The job even came with unlimited snacks.
Compared to how it was at home, where she lost out on all the good things, and her mother never let her grab resources for herself, this was paradise. They didn’t even mind when she wanted to eat a Rare Grade flower before lunch.
They just let her do it, and then they spent a little time helping the plant regrow, so that there would be another one in a few days.
One thing that she had noticed was how fast her power level was growing now that the curse of the runt was removed from her. Her growth rate was far beyond anything that a Forest Lord could usually hope for, as if she was making up for lost time.
But more than that, she had already overtaken where her siblings were when she left.
So, didn’t that mean that being with Karl was actually better than staying at home, even if she was the favourite?
Sister Cara claimed that it was a buff granted by the nature of Chaos, but Skadi didn’t believe that. She didn’t like it when things progressed in a less than ordered fashion, so it was almost certainly not the fault of chaos that she was growing faster.
She thought that it was more likely to be the stable nature of the Tiny World, where everything was in its proper place, and everything had a schedule.
Even at home, they didn’t have this good of a schedule, they foraged to find the good things to eat in the forest daily.
But here, someone just collected them and used a skill to make them taste even better.
As she contemplated just what was causing everything to get better, Skadi’s mental timer went off. Meal time was half over, which meant it was time to stop daydreaming and finish her food so that she could join the other healers for magic practice.
She had an epic grade area heal over time spell. It was her only healing spell, and it was designed to work best on plants, but it also worked on everything else.
