However, Karl couldn’t only make cool new gear for Dana, he was eventually going to have to start making proper accessories for himself.

He had a full set of Epic Grade items that he had made for the last battle, though. That sort of quickly created situational gear seemed like it would be better for him than making items that would lock him into a specific style.

Plus, it was funny to watch people fail to harm him.

Even Rae had to laugh at that. It really was fun to watch the expressions on confident enemies faces change as they realized they had never come up with a tactic for someone who had so much damage reduction that you simply couldn’t harm them with conventional spells.

Even New Home was like that to some extent, and they were one of the more open minded, with a large skill library and dozens of represented styles and Classes among their ranks.

But if you asked them, the issue was actually the other way around. It wasn’t that they were too bad, it was that some people were entirely overpowered, and some species had skills that made them virtually impossible to kill.

Even if you spent a thousand years studying a physical damage skill that could shatter a continent, the bear would just shrug it off. How was that you being too weak, instead of the bear being overpowered?

That was a great point of contention among the beasts.

Some of them thought that the average human immortals were just too pathetic. Others thought that the beasts were simply too amazing, and the weaklings should really be worshipping them.

Rae was definitely on the "They should be worshipping me" side of the argument, as was Hawk. But his argument was more for fire than for himself. Even Remi was conflicted. After all, she was born a Princess, so there should be some sort of reverence from the commoners, right?

And she had only gotten more awesome since then.
