Chapter 1962: Creative Juices

While Karl had suggested the new training method, he had not thought far enough ahead to have one of his own planned that would work for the contest.

So, they were all starting from scratch, and they all had very different ideas of what an effective training regimen should look like.

Thor was convinced that they didn’t put enough effort into training their bodies, and that some physical training would do them a world of good. If they improved their strength, it would improve all their physical damage bonuses, and allow even their magic specialists to use much more physical tactics.

Plus, it would be good for crafting large objects, or working with heavy utensils, like when Remi wanted to mix a larger batch of thick potion and had to recruit her bodyguards.

The reasoning behind it was solid from the start, but now Thor had to think up a method of physical training that they hadn’t done before to make it qualify for the contest. But what hadn’t they done?

They had lifted heavy things, which was the easiest way to train strength. And they had swung heavy weapons too. That was both of his favourite methods covered.

So, he was going to have to get more creative.

While Thor worked his brain to come up with the best physical training method, Remi was making a comprehensive list of all the potentially beneficial potions that they had come up with for the Alchemy Hall.

That was a method that they hadn’t tried yet, as most of the potions and pills were designed for other types of Systems, where you didn’t get the same sort of natural growth simply by using your skills.

So, with some dedicated chemical enhancement, they could definitely make the whole group quite a bit stronger, and they might even manage to pick up some new skills in the process.

Some of the effects were known to awaken latent bloodlines and hidden abilities, after all.

Rae thought that they should do stealth training.

They had trained for many things over their time, but they had never really done any sort of proper wilderness training other than survival, and the only stealth they knew was heavy stealth.

If there are no survivors, there are no witnesses.

It was a good tactic, but there were times that they could cut down on the time taken to get to the fun part if they could just stealth better. Karl could even use all her stealth abilities, and he still didn’t know a thing about stealth.

If they put some time into improving that, they would be able to fight all their battles from an advantageous position.

Tian was taking the task in a much less serious direction.

They had never properly trained their grooming techniques, had they? There were scales to polish, fur to brush, feathers to preen. If they spent some time mastering a new grooming technique, just think of how much more beautiful the whole group could be.
