The Oracle tried her vision again, focusing on something specific for a few seconds, before letting out a disgusted noise, and smacking the side of her head, as if she could physically eject whatever it was that she just saw.
"I take it that this one was not a good vision?" Karl asked.
"No, this one was not a good vision at all. However, it was the past, I know that much, and I even know who it was about. There was an attack on one of the New Home Elders about a year ago if my vision is right.
He was attacked in his own suite, and fought off the enemy."
Karl frowned. "And that was scary enough that you wanted it out of your head?"
"Oh, that wasn’t the problem. He was in the shower when he was attacked, and I really didn’t need that mental image."
That made Karl chuckle. "Ah, I can see how that would be more than a little disturbing, depending on which Elder it was. I forget to ask about these little things. But not all of them are built in a way that will look good naked.
It does seem like your visions have calmed to the point that they are no longer traumatizing, though. That’s a good start.
I don’t know if it will stay that way when you’re across town from us, but if your people would like to set up, I can arrange to rent you a space in town."
The Cleric nodded. "Thank you, that would be perfect. We can work out the price once we see the location. It doesn’t have to be huge, we were only planning to move some of our more troubled here.
However, if it was suitable for use as a World Dragon Chapel, that would be wonderful."
Karl hadn’t thought about that.
They had a huge number of clerics, and he hadn’t built any other temples or shrines in the city yet. That was something that he should probably do, just so that they could properly worship their deities.
Though, he wasn’t really one to speak.
He was an Avatar of the World Dragon, and possibly the least pious of the God’s titled followers.
Or the most.
He might not pray, but he did tend to follow the World Dragon’s tenets pretty well, since they were mostly "Do the fun thing, see what happens". Either that or "protect the fluffy thing".
Karl distinctly recalled the System, which was created by his patron deity, telling him to boop Lucille on the nose when she advanced. If that wasn’t proof that the world dragon had a soft spot for fluffy things, then the Bunnies would be the deciding factor.
But it seemed pretty clear.
