After ending the call with Keith, Ava returned Mason’s video call.

“Who were you talking to?” Mason asked.

“Keith. He told me he’s joining Starry Heavens University to teach.”

Mason raised an eyebrow, his gaze steady on her. “You’re surprised?”

Ava nodded. “A little!”

“He’s not your professor for your major.”

Ava shot him a look, thinking to herself, Yeah, he’s not my major professor, yet I get to take his elective.
