Mason smiled, braced his hand on the railing, and with a light movement, vaulted over it, landing in front of her.

Ava raised a brow. “How can you do something so childish?”

Mason took her hand. “Let’s go.”

Jason was sitting in the car, idly scrolling through his Holoband. He hadn’t been waiting long before he saw Mason and Ava approaching.

His eyes lit up, thinking they were the perfect pair. Meanwhile, Mason was smiling brightly. Was that his usually cold and aloof superior? He seemed like an entirely different person!

Sure enough, love could completely change a man.

Mason opened the car door. Only after Ava got in did he follow.
