The Genius Ex-Wife’s Revenge Portfolio novel Chapter 441

Grandma Jill, Rachel, and Maureen came bursting into the hospital room, all of them practically glowing with excitement.

“Mr. Harmon, is it really true? Is the real Doctor E in Rockford Bay?” Grandma Jill asked, eyes wide.

David nodded. “Yes. She’s going to the banquet tonight.”

The whole Irvine family erupted. They could barely contain themselves.

Maureen looked absolutely starstruck. “Doctor E is actually here. She’s my idol, seriously. I want to be just like her. I can’t believe I might finally see her in person.”

Grandma Jill shook her head in disbelief. “Doctor E is always so mysterious. We got fooled by that fake one before. Now we’ll finally get to meet the real deal.”

Rachel leaned in, curiosity written all over her face. “So, do you think Doctor E is really a lady?”

Jessa shrugged. “No clue, but I guess we’ll find out tonight.”

Grandma Jill turned to David. “Mr. Harmon, you have to take us to the banquet. We all want to meet Doctor E.”

David nodded again. “Sure.”

Just then, a gentle, clear voice floated into the room. “What are you all so excited about?”

David turned and spotted Ella standing in the doorway, her presence as calm and graceful as ever.

“Ella, you’re here,” Jessa said, grinning. “In case you haven’t known, the real Doctor E is in Rockford Bay.”

Grandma Jill gave Ella a look. “Doctor E is the real prodigy here. I know you have a fancy degree, but next to her, you don’t even compare.”

Ella just smiled, a hint of mischief in her eyes. “So, you’re all going to see this Doctor E tonight?”

Maureen didn’t even try to hide her smugness. “Obviously. But Ella, you’re not exactly on the guest list, are you?”

Ella laughed softly, arching her brows. “That’s funny. I actually know Doctor E.”

Ella’s gaze drifted to David, her expression unreadable. “Is that right?”

David met Ella’s eyes, then reached out and grabbed her arm, pulling her out into the hallway.

Once outside, Ella yanked her arm free. “What do you think you’re doing?”

David stopped, facing her. “Ella, maybe you should answer that. What are you playing at here?”

Ella lifted her brows, still calm. “You saw it. I was just telling them about Doctor E.”

David watched her, suspicion in his eyes. “So, you really know her?”

Ella nodded. “I do.”

She stepped closer, a teasing smile tugging at her lips. “Actually, you’ve already met her too.”
