The Genius Ex-Wife’s Revenge Portfolio novel Chapter 447

Scar sent the address to David and ended the call.

Rachel spoke up right away. “Mr. Harmon, please, you have to save Jessa. Her heart isn’t strong, she can’t handle something like this.”

Wyatt turned to David. “Mr. Harmon, Ella’s with them too. You have to bring her back safe.”

David left without saying a word.

...

Inside the warehouse, Scar eyed Ella and Jessa and made a noise of appreciation. “You know, you can question a rich guy’s morals, but never his taste. Mr. Harmon’s ex-wife and girlfriend? Both gorgeous. Makes a man jealous.”

One of his men grinned. “Boss, we’ve got time to kill. Why not have some fun with these cuties?”

Scar flexed his fingers and walked over to Ella. He grabbed her chin, smirking. “Let’s start with Mr. Harmon’s ex. I’m curious what kind of girl he’s had.”

He started to tug at Ella’s shirt.

Ella stared at him, completely unafraid, her voice calm and sharp. “Go ahead. Try it.”

Scar froze.

He met her gaze. Even with the red, swollen handprint on her face, her eyes were bright and steady. She looked fearless. “If you’re lucky, you’ll get to walk away with a billion dollars. But if you touch me, you’re not walking out at all.”

Scar let go and stepped back.

Jessa turned to Ella, her voice dripping with spite. “You really think David is here for you? No way. He’s here to save me. If I wasn’t here, he wouldn’t care if you lived or died.”

Even now, Jessa was saying things like that. Ella shot her a cold look. How could someone be so dumb?

Suddenly, a voice came from outside. “Boss, Mr. Harmon’s here.”

Ella sat on the floor, silent, her clear eyes meeting his.

He noticed the angry red mark on her cheek.

Scar walked up, all business. “Mr. Harmon, they’re both fine. Did you bring my money?”

David stared at him. “Did you hit her?”

Scar hesitated. “I...”

Before he could finish, David slapped him, hard.

Scar staggered back, hand to his face, staring at David in shock.

David stood there, tall and cold, his lips curling into a faint sneer. “You really thought you could lay a hand on my people?”
