The Genius Ex-Wife’s Revenge Portfolio novel Chapter 925

Jason admired the shifting emotions on Lilly's face. "Is there something you need?"

Hanna sounded frantic. "Jason, wake up. That Lilly is a homewrecker. She's just trying to seduce you."

Lilly was speechless. Was it really okay to badmouth her while she was right there?

Besides, she hadn't seduced Jason. He was the one aggressively forcing himself on her.

Lilly tilted her head up and shot Jason a venomous glare.

Jason stared back at her. Having just woken up, her long, beautiful hair was a messy, alluring tangle. She wore nothing but a thin camisole that exposed a generous expanse of luminous skin. As she looked up at him, her watery eyes glared with accusation, yet held an undeniable, shy vulnerability.

Desire flared violently within Jason. He dipped his head and captured her lips.

Lilly let out a muffled gasp of shock. She was horrified—she never expected him to be so brazen as to kiss her while on the phone with Hanna.

That soft gasp traveled directly through the phone. Hanna's breathing hitched, and her voice spiked an octave. "What was that sound? Is that Lilly? Jason, are you with her right now?"

Lilly hammered her fists against Jason's chest, desperately trying to push him away.

But his kiss was fierce and punishing, as if he wanted to devour her whole.

Desperate, Lilly opened her mouth and bit down hard on the corner of his lip.

Jason flinched in pain.

Taking advantage of his distraction, Lilly shoved him off, threw off the duvet, and bolted out of the room.

She was gone.

Jason touched the corner of his lip and looked at his fingers. Blood.

She had actually bitten him until he bled.

Lilly quickly composed herself, not wanting Victoria to suspect anything. "Morning, Victoria."

Victoria eyed her suspiciously. "Lilly, why do you look like you just rolled out of bed?"

"I... um..."

Just then, with a soft click, the bedroom door opened, and Jason strolled out.

Victoria's gaze snapped to his face. "Jason, what happened to your lip?"

Jason cast a lazy, meaningful glance at Lilly before answering. "Oh, a little wildcat bit me."

Victoria looked bewildered. "Since when do we have a wildcat in the house? And why would it only bite your lip?"

Jason poured himself a glass of water, took a slow, deliberate sip, and replied, "Maybe it's a perverted little cat. Couldn't resist my good looks, so it went straight for the mouth."
