The Genius Ex-Wife’s Revenge Portfolio novel Chapter 927

Victoria nodded. “Okay. You can drive Lilly home later.”

“No, don’t worry about it,” Lilly said.

“Of course,” Jason replied.

The two spoke at the exact same time.

Lilly shot a look at Jason, who was sitting across from her, completely unbothered.

The incredibly strange breakfast finally came to an end, and Lilly prepared to leave.

Just then, a few of Victoria’s classmates came in. They all liked Lilly and had come to see her off.

“Lilly, you have to come visit more often.”

Lilly smiled. “I will.”

She then noticed someone was missing and asked, “Hey, where’s Pattie? How come she’s not here?”

Victoria found it odd too. “Where is Pattie?”

“Victoria, Lilly, Pattie transferred out today. She withdrew from the program and went back to her hometown. We won’t be seeing her anymore.”

Pattie transferred?

Why so suddenly?

At that moment, Jason walked over. “It’s time to go.”

Lilly looked up at him. His handsome face was devoid of any emotion, as if Pattie’s situation had nothing to do with him.

But Lilly knew it had to be connected to him. Pattie had gone on a date with him last night.

Later, when he came back, he had acted like a madman, forcing her into bed.

Lilly didn’t know exactly what had happened, but she was sure something did.

Victoria and her classmates walked Lilly to Jason’s luxury car. “Bye, Lilly.”

Lilly nodded. “Goodbye.”

Lilly remained silent, feeling very tense. “Mr. Farill, could you please just take me home?”

Jason ignored her question and said in a low voice, “I didn’t use any protection last night, did I?”

Lilly’s heart skipped a beat. Why was he suddenly thinking about this?

“No,” Lilly replied.

“Sorry,” Jason said. “I forgot.”

Lilly found that laughable and couldn’t help but retort, “Your memory is certainly selective, Mr. Farill. You couldn’t remember last night, but you suddenly remember this morning.”

Jason heard the sarcasm in her voice, but he wasn’t angry at all. Anyone could see he was in a very good mood today.

He turned to look at her and raised an eyebrow. “Let’s stop at a pharmacy first. We need to buy some medicine.”

Lilly’s lashes fluttered. “Medicine? What kind of medicine?”

Jason replied, “I didn’t use protection last night. To prevent a pregnancy, I’m going to buy the morning-after pill.”
