The Girl They Ignored Returned as the Woman Seven Men Would Die For novel Chapter 100

"You don't need to worry about that, Ms. Sutton." Quincy tossed the earring casually onto the table, his gentle eyes fixed coolly on her.

"As a matter of fact, I already had someone look into it this afternoon. The owner of this earring is someone I can definitely afford to offend.

After all, she committed the act but doesn't have the guts to admit it. I assume she doesn't have much backing either, right?"

Seraphina's heart skipped a beat. The moment Quincy looked at her, the blood in her body rushed cold from her head down to her toes.

He checked, he had already checked!

He was merely testing to see if she would confess willingly!

Seraphina's mind went blank. The extreme guilt left her terrified to stay at this suffocating banquet for even a moment longer.

"What does this have to do with me?" She gritted her teeth, putting on a brave face to hide her panic.

"Since you've found the owner of the earring, congratulations. I have other matters to attend to, so I won't be staying!"

With that, she grabbed her purse and prepared to leave.

But the next second, the estate staff who had been serving beside the long table suddenly moved in unison.

They formed a human wall, blocking Seraphina's path.

Blocked off, Seraphina's eyes turned red as she looked at Quincy on the verge of a breakdown. "What exactly do you want?"

Quincy gave a dark smile, his apologetic gaze shifting to Lucas.

"Ms. Sutton deliberately spooked my horse and nearly caused physical harm to my honored guest. Did you think you could just walk away?"

Looking up again, the second son of the Lowen family, known for his gentleness, had a flash of cold, unyielding resolve in his eyes.

"It's late and the road is long, so I specifically contacted the police to come pick you up in person. Why don't you wait a bit, Ms. Sutton?"

"It won't be too late to leave after you've made everything clear at the police station."
