The Girl They Ignored Returned as the Woman Seven Men Would Die For novel Chapter 99

As Quincy finished his sentence.

Lucas immediately leaned forward, plucking the earring from Quincy's palm, a deep darkness swirling in his eyes.

He recalled that when Seraphina rushed over with the stable staff, her ears were bare.

But this earring couldn't have appeared on the horse's rump out of nowhere, so...

Staring at the faintly gleaming earring at Lucas's fingertips, Seraphina's heart sank, a flash of guilt darting through her eyes.

But soon, she furrowed her brows, adopting a perfectly wronged expression.

"What do you mean by that? Are you trying to say I stuck this earring into the horse's rear myself to deliberately make it go wild?"

"Just a reasonable assumption," Quincy smirked, leaning back casually in his chair, his long fingers casually crossed over his lap. "Regarding this matter, I have another witness. Why don't we bring him in to jog your memory together, Ms. Sutton?"

After speaking, Quincy clapped his hands.

Arthur Lynch, who had been waiting outside the door, strode into the hall. The moment he saw Seraphina, he pointed at her furiously.

"Boss, it's her! When she came to find me to save Mr. Lancaster, I clearly saw something flashing on her earlobe, but later it was gone!

I kept saying our horses are well-trained, docile breeds, so how could one just suddenly go crazy?

She must have intentionally led the horse out, used the earring to inflict pain and trigger a rampage, and then played the victim to pin the blame on me!"

"You're lying!" Seraphina gripped her purse straps tightly, glaring furiously at Arthur.

"And to think I actually spoke up for you today, yet you stab me in the back like this!
