After class, Mika headed to the therapy room.
Since the founding of The Restoration Society, its operational procedures and task delegations had steadily been perfected.
Most of the time, the club could run smoothly without her direct involvement.
Over the past few days, she had been preoccupied with Damaris's affairs and hadn't visited much. However, as President, she couldn't just ignore her duties completely.
At the moment, all eight massage tables were occupied. Some club members were helping students with muscle relaxation, while others guided strength training exercises in the open space nearby.
The moment Mika walked in, everyone greeted her enthusiastically.
The vice president was a guy a year above her named Justin Sawyer.
Seeing her arrive, he turned and grabbed a document from the adjacent office, handing it over.
"President Miller, we just got a notice from the school. The track and field meet is scheduled for the middle of next month.
The faculty advisor wants our society to provide a logistics team to offer immediate first aid for sports injuries. Who do you think we should send?"
The Society currently boasted five core members and had expanded to thirty-five general members.
Mika looked over the roster. After a moment of thought, she checked off a senior girl, four sophomores and juniors, and five freshmen.
"Let's go with these members. The upperclassmen can take the lead and guide the freshmen to form the first-aid logistics team. That should be plenty."
She handed the roster and document back to him, a gentle smile curving her lips.
"Justin, thanks for all your hard work lately."
Meeting her soft gaze, the tips of Justin's ears grew hot.
He looked away, suddenly shy. "Not at all. I've gained a lot from being part of this club too. It's just... I have something going on the day of the sports meet, so I might not be able to lead the team..."
"That's perfectly fine. I'll take the lead that day," Mika said, her smile widening. "We tackle the club's issues together. You don't have to carry everything on your own shoulders."
Justin's ears turned an even deeper shade of red.
