The Girl They Ignored Returned as the Woman Seven Men Would Die For novel Chapter 69

The blatant, undisguised glares of contempt, accompanied by sarcastic whispers, rained down on Seraphina.

But her expression didn't change. She simply picked up her jacket from the side of the room and walked out of the dance studio as if she hadn't heard a thing.

In truth, even before this scandal happened, many of the girls in the performing arts department naturally harbored malice toward her.

Her striking looks and undeniable talent meant her future was blindingly bright. It was inevitable that she would attract jealousy and critical eyes.

Seraphina had long grown accustomed to the hostility from the girls in her major, which was exactly why she had sought out a best friend in the sports science department instead.

Stepping into the locker room down the hall, before she even pulled the curtain back, a sharp slap echoed from inside.

"If you're this poor, you have a lot of nerve studying acting! Don't you know arts majors are the most expensive?"

"Do you have any idea how much this custom dance outfit cost? And now that you've ruined it, all you can do is cry?"

Seraphina pulled back the curtain and walked in, only to see two girls backing a frail-looking girl into a corner, completely aggressively.

The girl was holding a dance outfit stained with blood, crying in utter panic.

"I'm so sorry, I really didn't know my period was going to start today! I... I'll get a part-time job and pay you back."

Seraphina squinted and realized the girl being cornered was her new roommate, Tiana Yates.

She remembered Tiana came from a struggling family and was incredibly shy. The other two girls in their dorm rarely ever spoke to her.

An idea formed in her mind. Seraphina stepped forward, pushing one of the aggressive girls aside. "How much does she owe you? I'll pay for it."

The other students in the locker room, who had been watching the drama unfold, all turned their curious gazes toward Seraphina.

Tiana, pinned against the wall, snapped her head up. Her tear-streaked face was filled with shock and overwhelming gratitude. "Seraphina..."

One of the bullies looked Seraphina up and down, letting out a cold sneer.
