Lorenzo dismissively glanced at Cameron. "Lead the way."

Leopold bent down and replied, "Come with me, Mr. Connolly."

After showing Lorenzo to the living room next door, Leopold made sure everything was in order before coming back. Upon seeing that Cameron was still on the floor, he frowned and said, "Get up. Are you waiting for me to help you up?"

Cameron picked himself up. "You told me that no one dare mess with the Fuller family in the northwest, Grandpa. But earlier, Lorenzo acted like we were nothing. That's over the line."

Leopold's expression turned grim. "You're right. The Connollys don't even respect us."

Cameron was in a daze. He'd just heard about the deaths of Vernon, Lyndon, and Clement when Lorenzo slapped him, crushing his pride.

Upon hearing Leopold's words, Cameron snapped, "How could they? The Fuller family isn't some pushovers. How could he not take us seriously?"

Feeling down, Leopold couldn't help but sigh. "You're too young, and there's a lot you don't know. Do you even know what's your relationship with Mr. Connolly?"

Cameron was perplexed. "What does he have to do with me?"

Leopold murmured, "He's your younger brother."

Cameron was momentarily stunned before gasping. "Are you saying he's Dad's illegitimate son?"

Looking frustrated, Leopold glared at Cameron. "Quit making stuff up. He should be my grandson."

Cameron gazed at Leopold with a puzzled face. "Is this some mess you got into outside, Grandpa?"
