Otto frowned. "I get what you're saying, but that's only happening overseas. In our country, there's no way a company that runs a scam operation would be around."

Durban frowned, looking into the doorway. The unfinished place was in shambles as if danger were lurking within.

He swallowed. "I might have watched too many videos lately, but I keep seeing stuff about scam operations abusing and even killing people. I'm probably just paranoid at this point.

"I'm not going in there, but feel free to proceed. Still, I'd warn you not to go in."

Otto looked at Durban and then at the door frame. He grinned. "Guess neither of us is going in."

Durban felt a weight lifted off his shoulders. "Glad you're on the same page, but what do we do next? If we expose the injustice we have faced, none of the registered hospitals in Lambda City would take us in. How about we try looking for a job in another city?"

Otto shook his head. "Let's put that aside for now. We'll deal with it after we get through today's interview."

Durban frowned. "You said it yourself, neither of us is going in. How are we supposed to attend the interview?"

Otto coldly replied, "Why can't we go for the interview? Even if we stay out, they'll come out. We'll just stand here and wait."

Durban shook his head. "It's a hospital that can't even afford to renovate its building. They're that broke, so the pay must be awful. I'm starting to doubt if they can even pay us."

Right then, footsteps echoed from inside the building.

Otto frowned and looked at the door frame, spotting a young man coming out. The cement floor was covered in dust, with a few footprints left behind.

As the young man walked out, dust kicked up behind him.
