The Great Medical Saint (Matthew) novel Chapter 923

Seeing Trafford calling the cops, Pierre suddenly freaked out. The reason he had kept journaling all that time without taking revenge was because he was afraid that a moment like this would come.

Pierre turned to Matthew and asked, "What do we do next?"

Matthew suddenly raised his volume. "Let him call the police. They'll give us justice. Good doctors get banners as recognition, so why can't we give a banner to criticize the bad ones too?"

Trafford dialed the emergency number as he snarled, "Just you wait! You're going to regret this when the police show up."

Matthew nonchalantly responded, "Get the police here right now. I'm calling them as well. Besides that, I'm going to reach out to the press and even the social media influencers.

"I'm going to get them to spread the word about what a heartless doctor you are. It's time for the world to see what kind of monster preys on their patients like you."

Trafford had the number 911 ready on his phone. He was about to call when Matthew's words stopped him cold and threw him into a panic.

What he did was something he couldn't let anyone find out about. If people learned about it, he couldn't even imagine the fallout. At that point, his mind was all over the place.

What now? What should Trafford do?

The hospital director contacted security through his phone. When he heard Matthew's words, he freaked out so much that he dropped his phone on the floor.

He didn't bother picking up his phone and hurried over to Matthew. "I'm the hospital director of Hillsdale Hospital. You don't need to call the reporters. Just tell me what you want. I promise I'll make it right."

Matthew pointed at Trafford. "The deal is simple—the two-faced doctor made my friend lose his job. Get him on his knees and make him apologize."

The hospital director frowned. Asking Trafford to kneel and apologize seemed like too much.

Trafford stood there in shock. After the director said that, he had no fight left in him.

If his past medical screw-ups were uncovered, getting fired was the least of his worries. He might even end up behind bars, but he just couldn't bring himself to kneel and apologize to Pierre.

He glanced at Pierre with a troubled look, wanting to say something but holding back.

Upon seeing Trafford just standing there, the director seemed even more anxious than Matthew and sharply urged Trafford.

"Apologize now, Trafford. Or I won't be so nice anymore."

With a thud, Trafford groveled before Pierre. "I'm really sorry. It's all my fault. I was too caught up in hitting the targets and ended up getting you fired. Please don't hold it against me."
