The Great Medical Saint (Matthew) novel Chapter 935

"Timothy added, 'But I don't want to cause a scene. If this gets out, I'll make sure to inject those drugs into you myself the next time I catch you.'

"With that, he yanked the syringe out, waving it menacingly in front of me. The needle was still coated with my blood.

"Although he hadn't injected the drug, the sheer terror of narrowly escaping such a fate left me trembling.

"For the first time, I truly grasped the madness some people would descend into for money. They didn't see others as human anymore.

"I was terrified. I didn't even know how I left the hospital. By the time I got home, I felt as though my soul had left my body. Unconsciously, I picked up my diary…"

Matthew slammed the diary shut, his eyes burning with murderous intent. "Let's go! I'm taking you to Dr. Fern to get revenge!"

Pierre's face went pale, his body trembling. "How do you plan to get revenge? Aren't you afraid he'll inject you with those drugs too?"

Matthew's mind flashed back to the last time he was sent to the psychiatric hospital. That time, he'd left behind a trail of bodies. The hospital floors ran red as the rain outside mixed with blood.

His blood boiled with murderous rage. "I won't give him a chance to inject me. Today, he's going to die. I'm going to send him on his way."

Pierre stared at Matthew in shock, his voice stammering. "A-Are you going to kill him?"

Matthew's voice was cold as ice, like it came from the deepest part of a frozen cave. "Killing him is the only way to avenge this."

Pierre studied Matthew carefully. The murderous gleam in Matthew's eyes was like a sharp blade. His face was twisted with an expression so chilling that it sent shivers down Pierre's spine.

He realized Matthew was absolutely serious. But that thought made Pierre uneasy. What happened after he killed someone? Being hunted by the police, being…

He couldn't fathom what would happen after a murder.

"Dr. Zeller, this month's performance has been solid. I've already instructed the finance department to transfer the three million dollars to that account."

Brian nodded.

"Got it. I don't have many years left before retirement, so I won't be making much more money. Don't envy me for the little I earn. Once I step down, you'll be the hospital director. You'll have plenty of time to make money."

Timothy chuckled and said, "Having you guide me is an honor. I have no other thoughts."

Brian nodded again and replied, "You're a smart person. Your future will be brighter than mine. And I'll back you up. Just focus on your work. If anything goes wrong, I'll handle it.

"Let me tell you this, don't worry about breaking the rules or the law. Even if people die, I'll take care of it. Here's some advice for you—go big, take risks, and make money!"

Upon hearing that, Timothy felt more at ease. "With your support, I'll go all out. Dr. Zeller, I promise I'll increase our revenue by at least 20 percent next month."
