The Great Medical Saint (Matthew) novel Chapter 971

Pierre looked troubled, staring at Matthew but biting his tongue.

Matthew cocked his head to one side at the door and urged Pierre, "What are you waiting for? Let's go."

Upon hearing that, Pierre got up and made his way to the door without saying anything.

Carson stood up as well. "Allow me to join you, Mr. Grant."

Matthew shook his head. "It's fine. You should stay at home and spend time with Rebecca."

Carson raised his hand. "Even though I'm married, I won't let that keep me from learning medicine. Rebecca supports me in this."

Smiling, Matthew responded, "Don't overthink it. You don't have to come with us today, so just stay home with Rebecca. Tomorrow, head over to the ninth floor of Opulent Club. I'll be waiting for you there."

Carson was taken aback, and then he checked with Matthew again. "Are you seriously talking about the Opulent Club I'm thinking of, Mr. Grant?"

Matthew then recalled that the Opulent Club wasn't an ordinary club. He reaffirmed Carson with a smile. "Most probably."

Carson sported a bitter expression. "I don't even get to visit the first floor of Opulent Club, let alone the ninth floor. Even if you want me to, I don't have permission to go up there.

"Did I upset you in any way, Mr. Grant? You can yell at me all you want, but please don't throw me out."

Hearing that, Matthew was stunned for a while. "You had the wrong idea. Opulent Club is mine, and you'll be going there a lot in the future. The ninth floor is yours to enter whenever you want."

After saying that, he quickly went after Pierre, who was already at the door.

Standing in the living room, Carson was in a trance as he murmured, "I get to enter Opulent Club. I actually have the right to get in. I—"

As Carson muttered to himself, Rebecca walked over. Upon hearing what he was saying, she teased, "Are you listening to what you're saying? That can't be true. Opulent Club isn't a place just anyone can go."

Carson snapped out of it and excitedly took Rebecca's hands. "I can get into Opulent Club now, Rebecca. I'm even allowed on the ninth floor."

Rebecca playfully protested, "You always know how to get to me and use my weakness against me. Cut it out already. It's still daytime. You're so naughty! Let's do it at night… Please…. Stop it…"

In a 24-story building, Matthew and Pierre stood at the entrance on the first floor.

Pierre had been standing for ten minutes without going in. Seeing this, Matthew couldn't help but nudge him to get moving.

"Let's head inside. You'll have to face it either way, so stop dilly-dallying."

Pierre sighed as he slowly crouched. Furrowing his brows, he stayed put and grunted. Realizing there was no way to change Pierre's mind, Matthew crouched down as well.

Matthew had no idea what happened between Pierre and Alyssa, and he wasn't going to pry. After all, even if he did, it wouldn't change anything.

So, Matthew followed suit and crouched like Pierre, quietly waiting on the side.
