The Great Medical Saint (Matthew) novel Chapter 981

Matthew set Five Integrations of Traditional and Modern Medicine and Crimson Gold Token on the table and slid it right in front of Ansel.

Ansel put his cup down and flipped through the medical book. Then, he put it aside and picked up Crimson Gold Token. He checked the front before flipping it over to look at the back.

"It turns out that the most precious item for Harmona Sect is Crimson Gold Token."

Matthew was on the same page. "You feel the same way as well?"

Ansel nodded. "Five Integrations of Traditional and Modern Medicine talks about various medical knowledge, but the traditional medicine segment is the most precious.

"The modern medicine part is super outdated. With how advanced technology is now, it's just way behind."

Matthew had noticed this long ago. "When I came across that book, I couldn't stop myself from being in awe of the traditional medicine handed down to us. After thousands of years, the principles of traditional medicine are still eternal. They're always correct.

"The remedies in it are still great for curing diseases and saving lives. But when you look at modern medicine from 200 years ago, it seems primitive and useless."

Ansel remarked, "I watched a short video today, and it said humans are just lab rats being tested by smarter beings. There are just too many unbelievable things.

"The video made an analogy. Imagine you're walking in the wilderness and find a phone, would you think it grew out of the ground?"

Matthew furrowed his brows. They were talking about the Harmona Sect's medical knowledge, and now they were on the topic of human origin.

But he still went along. "A phone has such an intricate design. How would it sprout out of nowhere?"

Ansel continued. "Humans are a thousand times more complex than a phone. Look at the human eye. It's a finely tuned optical device, and the craziest part is that it's alive. It takes in nutrients, grows, and ages over time.

"Besides the eyes, we have our stomach. It digests food and absorbs nutrients. As we eat when we're hungry, the stomach is just like the phone battery, needing to recharge its energy.

"The human body is more sophisticated than a phone. Phones just don't grow out of the ground, so how did humans just come out of the earth?"

Matthew was taken aback. He remarked without a second thought, "No way humans just appeared out of the ground."
