The Healing Avenger novel Chapter 359

“How audacious! Who do you think you are? Daring to invade the territory of the Martial Arts Alliance?”

As Finnegan and his two companions launched their assault, more and more members of the Martial Arts Alliance began to gather around them. A mid-level official of the Martial Arts Alliance, who was specifically in charge of this area, even arrived with nearly a hundred people, their presence overwhelming.

Finnegan swept away the people from the Martial Arts Alliance in front of him and turned back.

In just a short span of time, around six to seven hundred disciples of the Martial Arts Alliance had already gathered.

Doom Star and Duncan approached, standing behind Finnegan, intently watching the menacing disciples of the Martial Arts Alliance.

“Mr. Quillan!”

Having just finished a phone call with Jasper, Corbin rushed out, his drunken state seemingly more apparent. “Why all the unnecessary talk? Attacking the Martial Arts Alliance without reason is tantamount to challenging its dignity. They should be killed!”

Bernice exclaimed anxiously, “You're talking nonsense. It was you—”

Smack!

As a result, Corbin slapped Bernice across the face and, with a swift kick, sent her flying into the room. “D*mn it,” he cursed, “What right does a woman like you, who only knows how to entertain men, have to speak? Get in there!”

The fury in Finnegan's eyes intensified. “Corbin!”

Corbin, however, seemed to not recognize Finnegan anymore as he shouted at the steward, “What are you waiting for? Do you want me to have my father call Mr. Marlowe to complain about your inaction?”

The residential area's defense was under the jurisdiction of Kieran.

Upon hearing Corbin's words and considering his background, the middle-level manager immediately raised his hand. “Take these three people and hand them over to Mr. Marlowe for disposal. Anyone who dares to disobey will be killed without mercy!”

A sly glint flashed in Corbin's eyes.

“Who has the guts?”

At that moment, Finnegan also produced the Martial Arts Alliance's South-North Badge.

This was the living area for the disciples of the Martial Arts Alliance, home to thousands of them. Even if he, Doom Star, and Duncan were capable fighters, they couldn't withstand a battle against such a sea of people.

The middle-ranking steward recognized the Martial Arts Alliance's South-North Badge.

He urgently exclaimed, “Hold on. How come you have the Martial Arts Alliance's South-North Badge? Who are you?”

“Mr. Quillan, this is a fake!”

Before Finnegan could even speak, Corbin interjected, “How could an unknown youngster possibly possess the Martial Arts Alliance's South-North Badge? Therefore, seize him immediately! Anyone who forges the Martial Arts Alliance's South-North Badge is a person who must be executed!”

Finnegan's gaze was frosty, his murderous intent surging even more. “Fake? I suggest you make a call first. Don't be fooled by others!”

The middle-ranking steward showed hesitation.

A sense of urgency gripped Corbin as he pressed, “Mr. Quillan, do you not trust my words? I hail from Durbaine. Surely I am more familiar with the affairs of the Martial Arts Alliance's South-North Badge than you are?”

The reason he was acting this way now was all due to Jasper's instructions.

Pretending to be drunk, he failed to recognize Finnegan and manipulated the unfamiliar disciples of the Martial Arts Alliance to eliminate Finnegan.

Before Walter had a chance to investigate, he would erase the truth that he had captured Finnegan's fiancée first. This was done to falsely accuse Finnegan of causing trouble without reason.

That way, even though Walter was the chairman, it wasn't appropriate for him to pursue the matter any further.

Finnegan could also discern Corbin's intentions, and with a chuckle, he said, “Corbin, you're bringing disaster upon your entire family.”

“Where did this thing come from? Shut your mouth!” Corbin angrily rebuked him before continuing to urge the steward, “Aren't you going to make a move?”

However, the steward was somewhat hesitant to act.

He had never personally seen the Martial Arts Alliance's South-North Badge, yet he knew that the chairman's special commissary was currently in Capston and was quite young.

Josef put down his phone after ending the call, his gaze profound. “The chairman said if you want to secure your position as the president of Nuthana Martial Arts Alliance, you must eliminate all threats. Let Mr. Larkin handle this matter. After that, you will have complete control over Nuthana Martial Arts Alliance, with no discordant voices left!”

He paused, looking off into the distance, where a car was parked under the shade of the trees. “It also makes those with hidden malicious intentions pay the price for their ill thoughts!”

Meanwhile, at Kieran's home.

With a full-faced smile, he settled into the car, showing no signs of his previous rage.

A confidant by his side asked in confusion, “Mr. Marlowe, why have you arranged things this way? Didn't we agree to discuss this after Mr. Sheppard left Capston?”

“Plans can't keep up with changes,” Kieran said with a sardonic smile. “And wouldn't it be delightful to have the Luzon family owe me a favor?”

The confidant still didn't understand. “But Finnegan has saved the chairman before. If he really dies, wouldn't the chairman seek justice?”

Feigning ignorance, Kieran said, “I had no idea he was the commissary of the chairman. I was simply fulfilling my duties! Even if he was the commissary, attacking one of our own without reason, that's a capital offense!”

When the confidant heard this, his expression became even more puzzled.

How could it be without rhyme or reason?

Wasn't it because Corbin had seized his fiancée that all this happened?

Seeing his confidant still puzzled, the cheerful Kieran patted his shoulder. “Lenny, if Finnegan were to die and his fiancée disappeared, would Corbin admit that he was the one who provoked this trouble by capturing Finnegan's fiancée? That certainly wouldn't happen. Because Corbin had drunk too much. He couldn't even recognize his own father. He was completely oblivious.”

Upon hearing this, the confidant had a sudden realization. “I understand now. However, there won't be any unexpected incidents, right?”

After all, many people had gathered there.

Kieran let out a cold laugh. “As long as Finnegan is taken care of before Josef and his men arrive, who would dare to claim that Finnegan had ever revealed his identity as a commissary? Have my over twenty years of dedication to the Martial Arts Alliance not earned me a shred of respect?”

“I understand. Mr. Marlowe, you're brilliant!”
