The Healing Avenger novel Chapter 403

It didn't matter who won or lost between the Zymons and Wahlstrom families as long as things remained within controllable limits.

Finnegan chuckled lightly. “No wonder Hank dares to stir up trouble in secret. It seems you guys simply don't care.”

“Hank knows what he's doing. We naturally don't need to concern ourselves.”

After popping a grape into his mouth, Finnegan shifted the topic. “What about the last question? Can I take him down?”

Hank was supporting the Zymons family from behind the scenes. He couldn't possibly ignore the fact that the Wahlstrom family was being crushed. He had to wipe out the Zymons family.

The two were inevitably going to clash.

Nathan gave a bitter smile. “You rascal, why bother asking me a question you already know the answer to?”

Even if Hank went too far, Finnegan could not take his life.

After all, Hank was from one of the Five Great Families, the Weatherby family, the pillar of Loang.

Finnegan pursed his lips. “As expected, no one is above the law. But that depends on my mood!”

“All right, then,” Nathan said with a smile. “You surely didn't seek me out tonight just to discuss this matter. Go ahead and tell me. What is it that you want to do?”

Yawning, Finnegan no longer beat around the bush. “Once Regi Group and the Military Department establish their partnership, they will inevitably become a thorn in the side of leading pharmaceutical companies. They may even be targeted by international pharmaceutical giants. As a major shareholder, I will undoubtedly be in the spotlight, and you know I'm a person who prefers to keep a low profile!”

“You want to find someone to hold shares on your behalf while you remain hidden in the background?”

“This is one thing,” Finnegan replied. “And there's another thing, the most important one.”

Subsequently, Finnegan revealed the real reason why he had sought out Nathan that evening.

Nathan was slightly taken aback. “You really are a restless one. No wonder Dr. Aiello has taken on several students over the years, but only you became his disciple.”

Finnegan chuckled. “So, what do you think?”

“You want to split Regi Group's headquarters into three divisions, one in Jadeborough, one in Jipsdale, and one in Durbaine. That's not a problem. However, I might need to communicate with Durbaine about the rest, as this involves a wide range of issues.”

“No problem.” Finnegan picked up another grape and tossed it into his mouth. “Let's deal with the matter of splitting up Regi Group's headquarters first; otherwise, we can't proceed with the rest.”

“Has there been any progress with the people in charge in Durbaine and Jipsdale?”

Finnegan nodded and said, “Once you've finalized things here, I will naturally make the arrangements.”

“I'll finalize them in the next couple of days. But aren't you perhaps taking too big a step?”

Finnegan gave a helpless smile. “Do you think I want to? Wasn't it you who asked the Military Department to negotiate with Regi Group? I have to plan ahead to avoid being defenseless when attracting attention due to our growth, right?”

“Hahaha! Indeed, if I hadn't given you a push, you would have just laid low. It seems this push wasn't too bad after all.”

“You bunch of old men, I hope you're not setting me up.”

Before long, Stephen and the others had helped Nancy serve all the dishes.

Finnegan and Nathan had also ended their conversation.

“Old Mr. Wright.”

Nancy placed a portion of pickles in front of Nathan. “My dad said you're getting on in years, and eating too much meat can lead to indigestion. He suggests you eat it with some pickles. It's good for your stomach.”

“All right.” Nathan nodded and smiled. “Why don't you invite your father to join us? The more the merrier.”

Nancy shook her head. “No, thank you. You all go ahead and eat. There are other guests tonight. Call me if you need anything.”

And then, Nancy turned around and left.

Waylynn gave Stephen a nudge. “She's gone. You can stop looking now.”

It was at this moment that Stephen received a phone call. He furrowed his brows as he leaned in to whisper into Nathan's ear.

Nathan raised an eyebrow at Finnegan. “I just received two pieces of news. The Wahlstrom family has suddenly mobilized forces to launch small-scale attacks on the Zymons family in Gablurg and Sparaville. This was your idea, wasn't it?”

Having been forced into drinking a glass of wine, Finnegan belched. “There's no other way. If not, the two families would continue to be at odds. I certainly don't want Old Mr. Wahlstrom to keep staying at my place and not leave.”

“You rascal, you're trying to force Hank to come early!”

When Hank was mentioned, both Waylynn and Romona fell silent.

They knew what Hank's arrival in Jadeborough implied.

Finnegan had actually pressured Hank to come to Jadeborough ahead of schedule.

Finnegan donned a pair of disposable gloves and picked up a piece of roasted suckling pig, stuffing it into his mouth. “Don't worry about this. I'll handle things within the limits you've set. Let's talk about the other news!”

With a helpless smile, Nathan gestured for Stephen to speak.

The latter nodded and said, “The Wright family's guards discovered dozens of people lurking around the perimeter. It seems like they're coming for you. So, should we pretend not to know and let them come, or should we deal with them?”

Finnegan froze momentarily, as he swallowed the meat in his mouth.

Following that, he exclaimed in disbelief, “Seriously, are you messing with me?”

Upon their arrival, Nancy had asked him if there would be anything happening that night.

Little did he expect something to really happen again.

He immediately waved his hand. “Don't let them come over, lest Nancy really think I'm a jinx.”

Stephen nodded and made a call. “Take them all down!”
