A sound akin to a booming bell echoed out.
Accompanying it was a water blade condensed from rain droplets tens of meters away. It arrived up close in the blink of an eye.
Sunny's face turned solemn, swiftly launching a hand-chop through the air toward Finnegan.
The blade formed from the stream of rainwater slashed upon the water sword.
With a thunderous explosion, the rain scattered in all directions.
Seizing the opportunity, Finnegan rolled over to one side.
Sunny didn't give chase. He simply gazed into the night ahead. “Why are you here?”
In an instant, a figure appeared atop the artificial hill.
Despite the raging storm, he remained unperturbed.
Clad in a white white, he exuded a distinguished aura.
His hair was a snowy white, and his face, hard as stone, betrayed no hint of his actual age.
The individual exuded an aura of ethereal grace, yet beneath it lay a distinct sense of strength and dominance.
Just as Alisha was about to assist Finnegan, her eyes suddenly narrowed and her red lips slightly parted. “Mr. Jenkins!”
It was the foremost among the Five Unparalleled and the chairman of Logan’s Martial Arts Alliance, Walter Jenkins.
Fifty years ago, he is already a Senior Grandmaster of Ether Realm, but why is he here?
Alisha seemed to have thought of something as she looked at Finnegan, recalling some things Theoden had once told her.
Finnegan possessed the strongest background in Loang and she must certainly capture Finnegan's heart.
She quickly recalled how effortlessly Finnegan produced the Martial Arts Alliance's South-North Badge.
Is he one of Finnegan's juniors that Grandpa was talking about?
Finnegan cleared his throat and grumbled, “D*mn it, I've been telling you to hurry up. Why the hell did you only come now? Are you waiting for me to be killed first?”
With a grave expression, Sunny hardened his gaze slightly as he turned to give Finnegan a surprised look.
He had known Walter for several decades, and they maintained a respectful relationship.
Fully aware that Walter was a person of few words and was extremely prudent, he was surprised at how Finnegan could speak with such disrespect.
However, what happened next took him even more by surprise.
Walter spoke apologetically. “Mr. Larkin, I came as quick as I could, but the typhoon in the southern region was relentless, making it impossible for the helicopter to fly over. I've done my best.”
Mr. Larkin?
Aside from Alisha who had guessed what was going on, Sunny completely froze.
Did Walter just greet him with respect?
“Wait a moment...”
Sunny felt a fierce jolt in his heart, the panic in his eyes was clear. “He's a disciple of Mr. Sawyer Aiello? Mr. Aiello is actually alive?”
Walter's face suddenly turned cold. “Wrosal, you talk too much!”
With a swift, lightning-fast leap, he appeared above Sunny's head in an instant.
Sunny quickly gathered his thoughts and stepped forward to meet the challenge.
When two top-notch elites clashed, even the raging storm was torn apart, causing the ground to tremble.
Alisha hurriedly helped Finnegan to the entrance of the mansion.
Despite this, the shockwaves from the fierce battle between Walter and Wrosal were incredibly terrifying. The stone tiles laid throughout the garden were all uprooted and scattered about.
The elite warriors of the Wahlstrom family who were thrown aside by Sunny wailed in agony.
Those who were too close were directly swept away by the blast and flung far into the distance.
Finnegan pulled out a healing pill and swallowed it, calming his breath before saying, “Don't destroy this place. Go fight further away.”
Immediately, Walter pressured Sunny further, leading him away.
The nearby artificial hill could not withstand the overwhelming aura of the two Senior Grandmasters, cracking open.
Alisha was secretly taken aback. “Are Senior Grandmasters even human?”
Finnegan wiped the blood off his face. “Senior Grandmasters are also known as Demi-gods. There's nothing strange about that. Besides, if a Senior Grandmaster wasn't so powerful, would the various nations treat him like a precious gem?”
“Besides Mr. Jenkins, how many junior fellow disciples do you have? Who are they?”
She's clearly trying to be naughty!
“The day I met him, I was reminded of Mr. Aiello. Little did I know that he was indeed the latter's disciple. Tatiana... it seems there's no hope for you!”
Having said that, Sunny slowly retreated, clearly having no further intention to fight.
Moreover, with Walter present, he was well aware that he didn't stand a chance.
“You really loved Ms. Howell, don't you?”
Finnegan stood up and called out to him. “Then tell me the location of the Blood Moon headquarters. I will then give you the antidote, allowing you to stay with her for a few more years.”
Sunny decisively shook his head. “Blood Moon is Tatiana's lifelong legacy. I won't reveal it to you. I believe that even in death, Tatiana would not want me to tell you!”
“Really? Could you just stand by and watch Ms. Howell die?”
Sunny's heart tightened.
Naturally, he couldn't just stand by and watch Tatiana die.
Otherwise, he wouldn't have come alone to fight that night.
Seeing through Sunny's thoughts, Finnegan gave a meaningful smile. “Perhaps I should motivate you further.”
In the midst of their conversation, Finnegan gestured with his hand.
Shortly after, a car slowly drove up and came to a halt.
Under the curious gaze of Sunny, several masked men in black disembarked from the vehicle. Moments later, they carried Tatiana down from it.
Sunny's face turned pale. “Tatiana!”
He stepped forward, ready to rush over.
Watching closely, Walter blocked Sunny the moment he made a move.
Sunny's anger was uncontrollable. A murderous aura filled the air as he roared at Finnegan, “Tatiana was right. You truly are a despicable and shameless brat. How could Mr. Aiello take in a disciple like you?”
This statement made Walter feel somewhat embarrassed.
Indeed, his senior was not very honorable.
However, Finnegan was utterly indifferent. “Speak up. Tell me the location of the Blood Moon headquarters, or else I'll flay her alive right in front of you!”
