She stepped aside and pulled out her phone, dialing a number.

Halsey gripped the phone tightly. “Did you send someone to take that worker? What did you do to him?”

Gilbert laughed, cold and cruel. “I don’t know what you’re talking about! That worker’s gone missing? What a problem. What if he’s dead? Then Lincoln Enterprise won’t be able to clear its name no matter what, and you’ll be done for. Haha!”
